With the release of classic, I've wanted to start knocking out a bunch of guides to help you on your journey. Keying/attuning is a huge thing in the game, so I thought it would be handy to throw together a comprehensive guide for you. I hope it helps! If you would like to catch me live, I'll be at www.twitch.tv/madseasonshow if you have any questions or would just like to say hi. Also, a correction with the Grim Guzzler key. I said you could pickpocket it "without incident" - this is untrue. The whole bar will turn aggro when you pickpocket it, so be careful! Sorry about that.
I would add 2 more keys in Dire maul, specifically Dire maul north. But I think Dire maul is quite interesting instance that could use its own dedicated video anyways :)
One of the worst video's that attempt to give the most basic underlying understanding of keys. We understand you played Nost and lights hope and just hit 60 before the servers went down, but you somehow still fail to explain the most basic starts of the key chains. Cool. Some of us have been vanilla for 10 + years. Move along pleb.
Michael steffens hey do you know that not all us even knew the game existed back then or simply were just too young this gatekeeping elitism altitude is the reason why people don’t like being around you So move along toxic piece of garbage of human waste And also thank you MadSeason for the guide
An important note when getting the Maraudon key. If you intend to get both pieces in the same run, start orange side and kill Noxxion, then go to Vyletongue, and then to Cerebras. If you kill Cerebras before Vyletongue, his ghost will despawn by the time you make it back to him. You'll have to run the dungeon again to get the key.
I remember making the shadowforged key. Such a cool idea - a quest giver that you can only even see when you're dead! Personally, I loved instance attunements. Many had the best lore quests, and some were quite difficult at the time!
So, I was sitting here watching the vid, when I got distracted. Started talking with a buddy, and suddenly found myself rocking back and fourth, feeling kinda happy. That's when I noticed you had the Final Fantasy 7 song in the video :D Awesome :D
Mad, recently I heard your voice on Asmond's stream and jumped with joy cause you have the best voice ever when it comes to WoW and I also found the Podcast from The Countdown To Classic series on spotify and have been listening to your episode during car rides and you have such a friendly and lovable quality to yourself. I then found your twitch stream and everything just feels so relaxed and focused and fun. Thanks for all the wonderful content you give us, it is all very entertaining and soothing.
This channel is turning from a WoW Historical Channel into a WoW Guide ... and may I say one of the best in both cases ... Fair well for now MadSeasonShow, I enjoyed the video and will come back for more, soon :-)
For someone who has never played vanilla wow back in the day this game has so much stuff to do. No wonder so many people are playing classic over retail right now. Classic is on fire and I’m loving it like crazy.
Awesome work my friend! Always a pleasure when I see a new vid pop up in the feed by the best TH-camr when it comes to classic content! We need you to sneak in a bit of Arnold in there like you used to :)
It was a pain in the ass, but it made the game more interesting I thought ( and made it more satisfying when you finally got to the end )...gonna sound like an old man, but seems like the game has shifted towards instant gratification faster and faster with each release the last several years.
It creates a challenge, a reason to do more and feels more like a place you are exploring rather than a world that has been put there for you to do everything and get every reward. Even the basic 'harshness' of the leveling presents this. Same with no mount till 40 and most of classics systems, even basic stuff like resistance on npcs etc etc. It all works together to make even small things rewarding making the game alot slower but a really enjoyable.
Ah yes, my favorite WoW-Guy is here. I hope you're on the Bloodsail Buccaneers man! You look like you'd be a fun guy to Roleplay with. I can just imagine that lovely monotone voice caressing an Elf Woman and serenading her with your facts and Paladin magic.
As always that Final Fantasy (X?) OST in the background is gut punching me right in the feels. And even the prerecorded MadLad vids are top shelf. Thanks m8. 👍
Sadly I suspect the AQ gate event will get completed in about a day. People are already making plans to stock up so they can complete the war effort right away. Not gonna be as epic as last time :/
@@torparkungen Hahaha that would be such a nice fuck you to all of those who have gathered all the knowledge and worked hard for the mats just to cut corners, and would make the game equally fair for everyone once again.

For mc attunement you can jump on the lava at the start then follow the wall. It saves a bunch of time to get to the smelter too.

For MC attunement you can just jump in the lava and swim to the portal instance.
