The Russian embassy was so bothered by this (mainly the bit before the song with the Russian Maffia) that they demanded an apology. The irony of it all is that during the real Eurovision in Moscow they did almost the same thing on stage as an interval act. th-cam.com/video/ih_Qk2VYywU/w-d-xo.html
TingAling doesn't mean anything. TingEling is the Swedish name for Tinkerbell in the Peter Pan books.
Its a shame that there werent english subtitles the comedy is genuinely great in what they say in swedish
During the semi finals the guys had been singing different versions of this song, all pretty terrible. Now in the final they went to Russia for the Russian Re-mix, Eurovision was held in Russia that year, and they managed to fit in a lot of Russian sterotypes. Balalaikas, Army choir, Russian sex-workers, Bears, Putin and Lenin (in the lyrics of the song), Cosack dancers, Tetris and the Tetris song, nesting dolls and the Russian Anthem.

This was made for Melodifestivalen, the Swedish nation finals of Eurovision - which is A HUGE yearly music competition where almost all countries in Europe participate 🎉🇪🇺

@@lexiette8343There are just some things in comedy that makes my body physically ache, and this is one of them. Mr Bean is another. Under-the-belt humour (Stefan & Krister, if you're Swedish) is yet another type.
