Our first time trying VAN LIFE IN NORWAY! (Picking up our VW CAMPER VAN from LOFOTEN VAN LIFE!)

- We're trying VAN LIFE for the first time and we're doing it in LOFOTEN, NORWAY in a VINTAGE VW BUS, come along for the ride!
On this episode of Mapping It, we're trying VAN LIFE IN NORWAY for the very first time! We fly to Tromsø and drive all the way to Svolvær in the Lofoten area. We pick up our awesome orange CAMPER VAN, a VINTAGE VW BUS, from LOFOTEN VANLIFE. After a quick tour of our new camper van, we stock up on groceries at a Norwegian grocery store. In the evening, we try our hand at cooking some tasty Norwegian food: FISHBALLS in white sauce with pickled cucumbers. Then we CAMP AT UNSTAD BEACH for the night.

You two are so cute. We loved the bloops they happen to all of us! I thought sandwiches for dinner but you surprised us with a gourmet meal! Incredible it was so bright at 11pm! Fun video! ~Cara 😊
We definitely surprised ourselves with that meal too! We were planning to do something simple, but going to the local grocery store really inspired us to be more adventurous! Being so far north in summer is such a cool experience to see the midnight sun! Thanks for watching!
I am definitely going to follow your adventures through Norway! I loved your video! You might want to explain what fish balls are a little earlier in your meal prep, just so you don’t lose the unknowledgeable. 😅
Also, half the fun is attempting to say the meal in the native language… fiskeboller!
