    I just got my 48 delivered yesterday and watched this video, I figured easy enough, why spend $600 to move it into the house. I got 8 strong guys, a appliance dolly, and we BARELY moved it into the house. I also damaged my front door a bit. Pay the movers, this is much harder than it looks and these guys are true experts at this craft.

      Sheesh just started a job installing for GE, i was unlucky enough to be on the only team of 2 guys capable of handling these referigerators. Definetly not fun, best case scenario most of time they come out damaged and dont have to be installed.

    Great channel I stumbled upon. I do similar deliveries down in Miami and can say, I am jealous of your crew. I am expected to do the same delivery with maybe one helper some times on my own. Some times they send me on my own saying there is already a crew there to help but you guys show the importance of communication and habit. Sometimes I go on a job and I speak English and Spanish fluently and half way through find out everyone there speaks patios. People down here have no problem spendy 12k to 18 k on a fridge but ask them to spend $300 on a delivery and they are insulted.

    I need guys like you to replace my 48 monogram. It's on the second story. Originally I had to use a fork lift to get up to the 2nd story deck, but now you can't because I have a hand rail in place. So need to take the stairs.

    • @Assureddominance
      @Assureddominance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to have somebody come and do a survey the stairs may not be possible it might not physically fit up the stairs it had to be done by a professional delivery man somebody who does that for a living and if there’s a turn in your stairs that’s a big trouble a lot of chance for the fridge and or your walls to get damaged not to mention very dangerous for the people doing the delivery It might end up being a lot easier to just take down that handrail

      @@Assureddominance I may have to opt for a 2 piece unit like the Subzero. Problem is the 48 still needs to be taken away. I will seek a mover and get their ideas.
      thank you

    • @Assureddominance
      @Assureddominance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your stairs are straight and there’s clearance height wise it’s doable and a 48 subzero only the compressor can be taken off it saves you some height but not much like 5 inches I’d have somebody do the survey first because if the stairs are good it will save you a lot of money

    Great work guys, but I have a doubt, that refrigerator weighs 750 pounds, and the house where they put it is still in construction, you can imagine rolling a dolley for a new wooden floor or something similar similar weight, what you guys They did the right thing to put it when the house is not finished yet, but some customers buy these things with a new floor and there if there is a problem

    • @Assureddominance
      @Assureddominance  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually you're right it's not 750 lb if you look on ge's website it lists the shipping weight at 800 pounds and the uncreated weight at 763 pounds and let's not forget the weight of the appliance dolly which is over 40 pounds
