Thank you so much! I'm 19 so I decided to try this, and my family loved this! I had the frozen bag of green peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, and carrots. I didn't have white vinegar, ground red pepper, or tomato puree, so I used apple cider vinegar, ground red pepper flakes, and tomato soup. (You gotta work with what you got at the moment, which is at 2:26am) And it turned out great! I also cooked some boiled lemon pepper seasoned chicken, dressing, and some gravy with onions, and made some sweet tea. My family loved the whole meal! Thank you! You give great instructions!
Oh man, while she was cooking those onions and peppers, it looked so good I could almost smell it! Next time I go to the store, I’m going to pick up the ingredients and try this. Hope it turns out as well as hers did. Looking forward to it!
Made it today and it's delicious. Had it with chicken cutlets, still good. Had only apple cider vinegar so I didn't add the brown sugar, just a small amount of white sugar, 1 tablespoon.
Hi Chris, I made Italian sausage Hero's for dinner tonight , and I added your Pepper's and Onions to the mix. My oldest son is home from college for winter break and he loved it.
Hi Chris, I made Italian sausage sandwiches on Italian rolls for dinner tonight. I added your Sauteed Onions & Bell Peppers to the mix, and the sandwiches taste witty much better than the ones that you can purchase at a Fair.....

GizmoBee1702 It's to pasty. You would need to add water. That would draw on the favor of the dish. Also the goal is not to taste tomato. It's only to have a small hint.

Why tomato puree? Can I substitute tomato paste? Is there a significant difference? Hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question. Thank you, Chris.
