Great video. I just bought a 2003 sedona as a spare vehicle and will be changing the brakes soon. One tip though: go to your nearest hardware store and just get a cheap spring tool. I think I got mine for less than $5, and the only time it comes out is for drum brakes. But boy does it save me some headaches trying to get the shoe retention springs on.
I just picked up a 2002. Mine is exactly like yours. Brakes were rusted up. Warning though bottom metal brace piece would not seat correctly against my metal of shoe next to bottom of emergency brake. My guess is there could be a design flaw in shoes. This kept the drum from going on
Overall, my 2004 has been a good one. The drum last quite a long time. The shoes can be aggravating depending on how they were made. One thing I’ve learned is that there were like 3 different sizes of shoes. It all depended on the size tire, year, and drum size. Thank you for watching and commenting
Well buddy you mess up the reason the top spring was so easy to put on is cause you put it on the wrong hole on the right side.. hope you caught it and redo it..
