Totally agree 30 yrs in snow removal I always did and told help blow a pass by side walk in lot as well as 2 passes when encountering parking blocks one or two pass in back of parking block then same in front looks clean and prevents win roe from spilling off plow back in area
Good for you running that business at a very young age👍👍 I ran a road plow for a municipality for a loooonnnggg time and enjoyed every minute of it. You gotta luv it to be in it. How did you find your insurance costs working for the municipality, higher than your private contracts? Some of our bigger cities had Melters where you’d be downtown with loaders & graders moving the snow from the curb into a long windrow and the melter would just come along with a scoop and link belt into a hopper that was heated with propane then water out the back and salt trucks following behind them. It was like a parade of flashing lights lol. Maybe for snow loading your trucks downtown, look into a telescoping blower attachment for your skid steers. That away you just make a long windrow and blow snow into the trucks. It’s likely quicker and you don’t need as much equipment on site.
If you put a arctic sectional plow on that skid steer you would be put on that of the sidewalk in one shot hundred percent just don’t get one that’s too wide because then you can’t use it when it’s wet and super heavy
So question what happened to the Hostile wheels and tires that were on your 2017 F-250 and why did you put stock wheels and tires on it and take the other ones off ??
Some of you’re sites you mention that they do their own salting…how does that affect you on liability ? Are you still responsible for a slip and fall…the way we do it here in southern Ontario if we don’t salt we are not responsible for slip and fall.
So did you contract directly with the property manager or a third party “facility management company “ that subs the work back to you? I want to work directly for the management company but figured I’d ask around first.
Does your business only do snow removal I know a few people that make a good living just doing snow removal. In my area your pushing snow or cutting grass and doing landscaping impossible to make a living just on snow removal.
Hey Bro, where’s the wings? Would you recommend them on 9.2? I know boss says they say in scoop mode and release in scoop mode in heavy load. Give me some feedback, might buy them based off your info. Thanks man, been subbed since beginning
@@CarsonSchifsky I can just imagine you sitting in your truck staring back at yourself in the rear view mirror as you pump yourself up before you snort a quick line and push the pedal to the floor 😂
I put on small rubber bumpers on the sides to prevent busting up the sides
We're back at it again in New England! We're on our second year of Snow ❄️ removal!!!! Hope all is well Bud!!!!!

@@CarsonSchifsky oh ok got you
Now there's a setup for making some money in this white gold 💪👊
Random question, why did you choose poly over steel for your plows? I'm looking at getting a new dxt. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

I assume y'all make most of your revenue during the winter months. What do y'all do during the rest of the year?
