Thanks for the video, yeah those look pricey--but I can imagine a ton of situations where that would come in handy and be the difference between taking next steps and getting stuck.
The longer version was made to give you more leverage, not for bigger wrenches. They had the complaint that there needed to be a longer version of the WE15 so they made one. Myself I just link up wrenches when I'm in that sort of situation but I can see the tool would be useful on occasion.
I was wondering about their new extender and the size difference in the head as I have the WE15. I agree, VIM needs to make one that will take up to a 2- 1/2" wrench as I'm a heavy duty mechanic like you and would use the piss out of it.

The part number for the larger head is WE27A and it will fit up to 42mm

There are different size heads for the TWE26…..TWE27 is a larger head….buy the accessory only not the entire tool
For now I'll stick to the more versatile K-Tool wrench extender.
