Thanks for your reviews on these wallets. I use mine just like you do. Very simple and best made metal wallet on the market. You need to check out the latest model with magnet catch. Much smaller with same capacity. I wasn't sure how strong magnet was. I talked to George at Scudo and he assured me it was strong and tested. I was NOT disapointed. Lots of options and designs. Thanks again!
@@Catmanjr56 yes I have looked at the new version of the wallet. The retention with the magnet was my concern also. My until is still going strong had some Nick's from use over the the years. Thanks for watching
I know, they don't wear out. I just like the different designs to change it up sometimes. I just bought one of the special editions blue and silver lid with car parts design engraved on it . Gen 6. Looks great!
Trying to do an alignment and break free the inner tie rod from the outer. 17mm wrench is too loose and rounds the hex. 16mm won't fit. Have a butterfly but it's 17-18mm and worse than the wrench.
Yes. That's one the I don't like about the butterfly socket that the are trying to cover two sizes. The product would have been better with each one for one size and a tight fit. Thanks for watching
There hard to come buy these days. Only option is the used market. I've been looking for the other set sizes with no luck at this point. Thanks for watching
The longer version was made to give you more leverage, not for bigger wrenches. They had the complaint that there needed to be a longer version of the WE15 so they made one. Myself I just link up wrenches when I'm in that sort of situation but I can see the tool would be useful on occasion.
My 84 platinum starting doing this after a couple years of ownership. The shop I work in is really dusty. Gravel parking lots and north and south sides of shop doors. So my dealer took off all of my drawer pulls and blew out all the dirt and dust and then disassembled them, cleaned and lubricated everything and it has worked flawless ever since. You wouldn't believe the amount of dirt that was hidden inside there. Hope this helps
after 15 years my gearwrenchs are wearing out so they will be second lifed for home use. I bought some SKs but the mechanism in two of them came graunchy new from sk. 6 pawls sounds good but now im worried thats six failure points
I do not know for sure. I would think it would depend on how many embossed cards where in the stack. I still use my older 14 model and I can fit plenty of things in it. I do have some issue with getting change back let's say I pay with a $20 (1 bill) and get $19 (6 bills) back exactly if they don't give back the largest bills possible like $19 ( more $5 or more $1). Thanks for watching

This is the only video i have seen where this tool matters. Every other video is just an application that would work with a flex stubby. I subscribed to your channel for your clear explanation. Fyi a short flex breaker bar and a 12 point aocket, costing almost nothing, would have been fine for final tightening . But i am atill subscribing because at least you explain yourself, and yes, this wrench is marginally better than a 12 point socket and a flex breaker bar. But i duno how you dont have short breaker bars as part of your arsenal, you may want to drink less gasoline on your lunch break.
You are right. The indexable ratchet has a limited use window. I have 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 watching in the wings just in case. Just for the record I drink unleaded MOUNTAIN DEW by the gallon. Thanks for watching 👍
@@itsatoolthing6323a socket has four sides on the drive, so if you don't have access angle for more turning, rotate it ninety degrees ..... and it changes the access angle of 6/12 points. Final tightening with a breaker bar , after a 1/4 stubby, can't be more than about a half turn.
@@itsatoolthing6323maybe you can also put a stubby combination wrench on the nut. And do the double wrench trick. Just occured to me. Also, you can buy 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 socket caps that plug into square drive and have six points for a combination wrench. Or the open end of a combination wrench. Many ways to skin a cat. But a flex 3/8 breaker bar would do it. Because you can flex it out to start the rotation and flex it in ..... to avoid the obstruction as it tightens.

There a lot of choices in the wallet space these days. I prefer the card security of the Scudo wallet. I've never been a fan of the band style my self. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the vid. How has this torque wrench held up? I’m a tech and in need of a torque wrench that is able to do angles on cylinder head bolts. I do prefer the split beam style but it does not have an angle feature.
I've had no issues with the digital torque wrench. I don't use it daily but it dose ride around in the shop truck so it's not too babied. Thanks for watching
I saw the same complaint with the wrench extender in the comments on a vim TH-cam the other day, i asked the day if he checked the specs before buying but then i looked at the website and there is no way you would be able to know before hand
Great use of the magnets, I get some super strong neodymium magnets from hard drives I take apart and it holds things in my mobile box great. Also, if you are interested in a 3 row magnetic socket tray Olsa tools makes them, mine has been a life saver.
I was wondering about their new extender and the size difference in the head as I have the WE15. I agree, VIM needs to make one that will take up to a 2- 1/2" wrench as I'm a heavy duty mechanic like you and would use the piss out of it.
Thanks for the video, yeah those look pricey--but I can imagine a ton of situations where that would come in handy and be the difference between taking next steps and getting stuck.
I'm in the good deal column......but my vote is to sell it off. It will be the 10 mm that got away; what fishing legends are made of. This way you get to go back out hunting again.

For that price and good quality, the cards still fall out. Might be due for a revision design. For watertight consider pelican or nanuk

There are different size heads for the TWE26…..TWE27 is a larger head….buy the accessory only not the entire tool
