My dad and step mom sold their home and lived in an rv traveling USA and Canada. They loved it. My dad would say it’s great I sleep in MY BED no matter where I am lol. Looks great enjoy!
You got that right. We rented an RV this size in the US, and have hired a European style in Germany. As an Australian I found US roads similar in width/layout to ours, yet some European roads and streets were ridiculously small. I even had to do three point turns coming up the Stelvio Pass.
this is so amazing! some advice, if you are driving for multiple hours at a time, there is a lie flat carseat called Jane matrix light. It helps reduce oxygen desaturation when baby is in carseat for a long amount of time, their neck drops down and cuts off the airway. Also helps development of the spine as they arent crunched up in an upright seat all the time AND if you buy the mattress add on, it can be used as a bed when you aren't driving. Just thought it would be great for a family like yours who travel alot.
You took an 80's themed RV and made it lovely and homey. I thought the tile backsplash was tile, not stick on. Love the color of it. Can I just say I want to cuddle that sweet, happy little baby girl!!!! Happy and safe travels!!!!
I’m a little concerned about the car seat being forward facing because it is so crucial to protect her head, neck, and evenly distributing the pressure of impact across her back. You have a beautiful home and baby!

Excellent job on the redo!!! You might think about getting clear shoe over the door holders. You can hang them from the wall too. They hold EVERYTHING!!! I use one for shoes and one in the bath for meds, soap, etc....I also like the over the door coat racks. I have several. We have had some type of RV for at least 20 yrs. and live part time in our 5th wheel now.
Just now watching this. I bought my RV August 2018. Sure wish I had the backup camera. As now I’m filing claim for dent on rear. And the Reno turned out nice for you guys. Great job. Keep on trucking.

As both Avalynn and your family grow, you just might need even more storage. Open benches and a bed that lifts open are good for that. Very good job on the renovation. I'm currently working on our old 1800's home....and having so much fun doing it too.
Your baby is so cute! Big smile and lots of hair. Nice RV. We are looking to do the same thing. After the first of the year. We are hoping to get something a few years old. We are going to Florida for a few months. And probably going to be down there a few times a year. It was that or buy a house to flip down there. And we just flipped a house and it just wore us out. So just going to find an RV park near family so we can be there part of the year. The rest of the time we are In Tennessee. I fell in love with RVing back when nomadic fanatic was just starting out. So it been a long time dream of mine. We bought land and did the shed cabins thing. So that good to have a home base. We talked about doing a van or a bus. To each their own. I'm an OLD guy and my wife and I HATE HATE HATE white cabinets. You paint over the beautiful grain of oak with white paint. To us = dumb. But it's your coach, do as you like. Painting the walls white and leaving the oak cabinets their natural color = smart. :) I often wondered why the RV Industry covers their cushions with such gross patterns. Solid colors are much nicer.
How about a video answering questions and giving tips to newbies? Q. What insurance do I need? Q. Is a motor home better than a trailer? I think if trailer TV has engine trouble you can live in trailer vs motor home being up in mechanics where do you go?

Great video, Really fun couple and just adorable baby. Wonder is that coolest place in Northern California was Lava Bed National Monument ( cant find the follow up video). We were just there a couple of weeks ago in a rented RV and now I cant get enough of learning about RV life. If you have not been to Lava Bed, Check it out! One of my favorite places in California.
My favorite is a small toy hauler, because there's a lot of things you could do in the garage and if you don't get a fifth wheel toy hauler, just conventional toy hauler, you can always get a new truck or SUV; not out a lot of money compared to the class A or Class C motorhomes. Trailer is having a diversified RV portfolio. I like the garage portion, great projected patio, plus some have bath tubs and frt kitchen. I hate gallery kitchen, traffic flow issues. Garage is great storage for toys, or thro in air mattress, great sleeping. Slide outs are okay, but just another problem, when least expected. Solar panels are must have, better then generator…. Class A Motorhomes okay if you're going to be mobile. They're very expensive to maintain they have a lot of toys on them so be ready for breakdowns. If you wreck them, Ins. are very poor. Not many mechanics really know how to work on them, expensive $$ beast. Class C motorhomes are very mobile to get around, sleeper over the cab is a waste of time : either too hot or too cold for good sleeping and if your senior, it's very risky getting in and out of there. Plus if there's two people sleeping up there, the frame over the cab really can't support much activity. I would prefer a truck frame chassis with a trailer attached o it, because if you don't like the truck frame chassis you can always get another one, just removed the trailer. I have a Class A, Trailer and Truck camper. Truck and SUV are the only two of all of the above, which have Lemon Law Protections. RV in general, carry no help from the courts and RV warranties, are collection of A-Z products and not insured by one manufacturer.
We have a 2012 damon daybreak 😃 I have done some fun decorating added color, peel and stick back splash in kitchen and bathroom..looks awesome. Just wish I had the guts to paint all the walls and cupboard doors.. exciting🤗💞

I thought this immediately, car seat laws not recommend rear facing until age 3-4, too many babies/children die every year due to internal decapitation during front on collisions! They have a large RV and surely could put the baby on the front passenger seat rear facing (with deactivated airbag) or reverse the car seat on the other side. I get that the baby is far away from them and they want to be able to see her but this to me is even better reason to put her on the front passenger seat. I would much rather take a risk with my life than with the lives of my babies.

Cool we were at Durango the week before you, during the big fire. Anyway, ya that giant RV was there when we were staying there. We had space 86 next to pool Fountain View. Very nice Resort. You should try Pomo RV Park in Fort Bragg.
If it comes to needing more storage look at getting a lift up mattress platform that allows you an expanded amount of storage. Look like you guys are ready for loads of adventures! Need to find a way to document this trip for your daughters baby book to make (God willing) her future siblings jealous 😁

It looks nice, just i would never paint stain quality wood, but it is a clean look and love the floors

Replace the tv with a new flat screen and put DVD and gaming or dish network in the storage behind it!
The car seat needs to be facing the other way. Even in an rv it needs to face backwards. It's to protect their neck in a crash.
