This is the prettiest reno I've ever seen!
I really love what you did with this reno! The bunk room is especially nice. The kitchen came out great and what you did with the bedroom is definitely different from anything I have seen before. One of the best things is the dining table, the whole idea of catching life experiences in the table is fantastic!!! Bright, cheery, and functional, what more can you ask for. Great job! Do you have a link for the 12v bulbs you recommend for the overhead /flush mount lighting? Ironically, we came upon your video while we are in our trailer trying to figure out the light fixture! We have you on the TV in the background while we are working and you literally answered the exact question we were wondering!!! You two are amazing:)
If you don’t need one of the bunks, you can put a washer dryer combo on one side and the other side put a desk for the kids to do homework
You could if there was running water in that space, but I don't believe there was.
Love the bedroom and bathroom.!! Also the large kitchen sink! Definitely a must have. May i ask where you got the bedding?

Hello! I know you made this video 4 years ago. But do you know the year, make & model of this camper. I love the layout. Most of all, you guys have made it so wonderful!
WHAT A BEAUTIFULL TRAILER . YOUR GUYS ARE VERY SMART AND NICE FAMILY .IAM RENTING A TRAILER BUT THE FLOR IS SO WEAK. SOFT AND IAM SCARE I DONOT BUY ONE BECAUSE IS EXPENSIVE THE REPAIR.
For a young couple with children you’re completely right. This is great! For an older couple or a couple/person who has an mobility issues an extra high bed that can’t be walked around is not. Overall I really like it just saying once you’re over 50…… things change.
Now I really like the shelf in the bedroom, the wood around the window, and plywood countertops in the kitchen. Question though. How do you attach the wood to the frame/walls? I mean if it does have a wood frame it’s tiny and hard to find to attach too, plus I’m concerned about the weight of items pulling it off the walls. Also what about waterproofing the countertops. That’s something I’d definitely want sealed. Am about to make some serious changes to a fifth wheel so any advice is appreciated!
Yes, if an RV was going to an older couple, we wouldn't turn the bed. We do seal the countertops as well.
Nice job! What did you do about the accordion master bedroom door? Did you put in a real door? Or barn door? I couldn't catch it from the video. I'd love to figure out how to put in a real door for mine.

what parent would put their kid in a drawer? that is so messed up in so many ways. lol. im just kiddin with yall. i watched many couples doing many things on youtube. by far, you two are my favorite. from what i see, i like how yall talk to each other. its a rare thing today to find a couple who genuinely love each other. its refreshing to see a fine couple like yall who enjoy life and treat each other with respect and honor. life is too short for unhealthy relationships. cherish the good times with someone who deserves it.

We make sure to find a stud within the wall. There was a large cabinet there before so it was mounted in the same spot.
I really like what you did with this camper but as far as pulling it...how much does it weigh? I know this one is sold but do you take that as a consideration when you are renovating?

Upper bunk railings need to be removable for easier bed making, and no walk around bed not first choice for many people.
BEAUTIFUL though and gives me more wonderful ideas. All the big drawers are awesome ❤
Beddys would get rid of that issue. Just zip up to make the bed.

Hello! I’m remodeling a 2002 Wilderness 5th wheeler, and I’m trying to find a way to make a sliding library that also acts like a door, kinda what you did with the barn door. Two questions, what kind of wheel/guide mechanism would your recommend? And how do you know where to drill holes and not hit any plumbing or electrical wiring?

I have a big doubt! After renovation does RVIA certification still play a part or does it get insurance for safe travel on US roads
There is actually an article on their site encouraging RV Renovations. We do not mess with plumbing or electrical. Only the functionality of the interior itself and the look. We weigh before and after, never going over the recommended weight and are aware of weight distribution. Lots of factors to consider. No doubts here
I have questions. I’m downsizing so I can save up n buy a trailer. I love your Reno’s . How does buying one work? Does one purchase trailer and then send to you to reno’ and how much on average does that run? I need to start saving and see about getting a loan. I just don’t know where to start.

How much, plus or minus did the weight of the trailer change before and after?
It's different with each rig. We often find ourselves around the same weight as before.
I am doing the exact thing in my bathroom shower, what did you do to the walls before sticking the tile on? Primer, seal, paint then tile? Or did you just stick tile on then did you caulk the seams where they come together? Or with the layer of protection under before you apply be enough?? I'm almost ready to paint and tile and I found your video in perfect time!

How much weight did you add to this trailer? I would think that is important when you have to drive it and move it.
We weigh each trailer before and after and we have never gained more than 400 pounds on a rig. We often times find ourselves under weight!

We often find we lose weight after a renovation. Rarely do we add weight.
