How do you upgrade an RV interior and remodel a RV on a budget? We renovated this 42ft mid-bunk 5th wheel, and we're so excited to share the final reveal!

We completely gutted the main living area and kitchen to make way for all new RV cabinets, bright white countertops, (yes we installed residential appliances in our RV), and built a custom pantry for tons of RV storage ideas. Why didn't I get this in recommendations earlier! This renovation is so good, n love how everything is organized... one of the best interiors as well. Also the fact unlike most parents they gave a proper dedicated area to their child in which she can easily live even when she grows older n has good amount of personal space. Thinking the extra bedroom was already existing it was sort of an extra living space. Loveseat that converted into a bed and had a lot of cabinetry with a desk, they only used about half of.
Turned out very nice. I especially like the extended kitchen and all white interior with splashes of color.

Wow! This is by far one of the most beautiful renovated fifth wheels I've seen! Great idea by eliminating the fireplace/entertainment center. I've never seen anyone do that. I could go on and on. Your home is beautiful and homey. Great job you two!

It’s very aesthetically pleasing, simple and minimal. I’m wanting to do something more simple as well but need to work with existing cabinets and figure out how to use the dining area as an office space without it becoming a catch all or cramped. Still looking at ideas.

No more propain gas to power a burner stove ,but instead using an electric unduxion plate for cooking stuff that’s a good thing for the environment as well too and your daugther’s sleeproom looks good too.

Fabulous! Really love every detail. Avery's room is perfection! Everything is so cohesive and well thought out. Going with normal cabinets in the kitchen...brilliant! Can you share how the appliances work? That enormous refrigerator, dishwasher and laundry are the dream. Do you have to stagger using them to keep from blowing a fuse? Thank you!
Thanks so much! 😊 The appliances can be used at the same time when you're hooked up to 50A shore power, but if you're running everything from a small generator, then you have to be more careful.

Can you share where you got your Kitchen hanging lights? Small lights that are cute are so hard to find.
You did an amazing job! When you made all the changes, where you able to stay withing the gross maximum trailer weight? I'm thinking a regular fridge is quite a bit heavier than the manufactured one, along with the lighting and kitchen sink (are heavier too).
Good question! Yes, we removed so much bulky furniture and cabinetry (and more) and most of the items we brought in were lighter than what was removed. We had quite a bit of wiggle room for the GVWR.

Beautiful and welcoming. TYFS. I'm on the fence about the combo washer dryer. We will go with the Spendide brand just not sure I'm sold on the combo. Are you happy with the time it takes to launder one load? How about drying time, do you find it as efficient as a stand alone clothes dryer?
We are very happy with the combo unit! So far it has worked excellent for us and the dryer works really good! It's the non-vented units that you have to watch out for, they are the ones that take forever to dry.

We never had to secure the table and chairs, but a simple ratchet strap or something similar would work well.

Hi! I also love how low profile they are, but unfortunately after several months of use, I cannot recommend them. However, we used roller shades from Ikea on our last project and those worked well!

Hi Stefani! We started demo mid July & moved in at the beginning of November. There were a few hiccups along the way (see ep. 6 in our reno series 😅)

this is probably the best rv renovation I've seen by far, what was the price of your RV and renovation costs?
Thank you so much! We never totalled the exact costs as there were some unrelated factors that came up and some prices weren't exactly normal (we renovated in 2020)... so sorry I couldn't be more helpful 🙈 We did buy the 5th wheel used (it's a 2017) for around $45K.

How many gallons of water does your dishwasher use? Would you recommend the brand you got?
It uses 2.4 - 4.2 gallons depending on the cycle you use. We always the ‘quick’ cycle that only uses 2.4gal and we’ve been happy with the results.
Feeling lazy on doing a search, so just going to ask… where’d you get your window treatments? I have basically the same RV (2017 Elkridge) and half of the blinds were missing or don’t work from maybe a dog the previous owner had? So I want to upgrade to something like yours!!
Also don’t know how to change my user name thing cause I’m a granny living in a 41 year old’s body. 😂
