DISCLAIMER: As before, there are still some rules errors in this game. This is just part of the learning process with big weird games like this. Any rules errors I'll try to put in this comment to clear up confusion! - 1:01:00 : We misunderstood this action. The First Regent cannot use a favor to force an Outlaw into the Empire. An outlaw could use a favor to force the Regent to bring them back into the Empire, but it would not be used the way we used it.
This game is big and complex! Don't feel bad about missing a couple small rules here or there. Yall look like you were having fun so that's the important thing! Here's a couple small things I noticed as well, just for awareness for your next game. 35:40 : Blue moves 1 extra imperial ship alongside their Loyal ship. You can only move as many Imperial ships as you are moving Loyal! Might have contributed to pushing the Red flagship out of the sector. 1:09:23 : Blue can't catapult past Rival Regent controlled space unless they're bringing Imperial ships
Arcs Campaign can be an evil game! The person writing the unofficial FAQ for the base game is in the process of recanting the Galactic Rifle / Gatekeeper interaction. I suspect the fact that GR is a new action which is not battle which therefore precludes battle modifiers carries primacy here to prohibit the interaction but I have asked for official guidance.
Enjoyed the games. Thank you for this. It would be nice to have a round table discussion of what you liked and didnt like about the campaign. I thought the morphing objectives were really compelling. I loved the one piece story arc. The golems you almost want to keep hold of them and gobble up the lore cards to restrict the caretaker? Good showcase of the game. Thanks!
We definitely had this exact kind of discussion/post mortem afterwards. I just ended the recording because the video was already three hours long! 😭 Next time I’ll keep it in.
With how close we were almost able to give the win to Robert, I’m glad we stuck it out. It really showed me that there’s always a chance. Even more so when we realized we messed up the rule that let Jack force Robert back into the Empire.
@@115-GamingI’m a backer of the game and watching this I’m worried that the brutality is going to turn off my group. My wife especially likes to build her scheme and is very frustrated by having it suddenly and completely stripped away. It seems to be a new level for “mean games”

In our game in the launch tournament, we ruled that GR and gatekeepers had no interaction. Because GR is not a battle.
Thank you Eric - I checked with the rules editor at Leder and you and I are correct!@@EricKuha

Really cool game, just so you know, from the golem heart golems can be stolen, you could have stopped the 20 points from blue :)
MORE!!!
Finally!
If you hadn’t been filming I bet you would have conceded when you lost warlord. That was a shutout

Golems are strong
