little missplay. unless I am mistaken the wording on Destined by fate is "when a saving throw is failed", so Magnus couldn't negate a devastating wound with it
yea it was definitely an oopsie on my part! But I have learned. Knowledge has been acquired and my power grows, one day I will achieve critical mass....or ya know my dice roll reasonably ok
I think you're right, but luckily in this case it was a mistake that didn't make a whole lot of difference in the end, as he got hit by another mortal moments later that really wouldn't have made any impact had it been used elsewhere 😊

Just a heads up from a fellow Thousand Sons player, with a common frustration - none of the Mutalith Vortex Beast's weapon profiles count as psychic (sadly and weirdly) so it can't get any bonuses from Magnus nor Wrath of the Immaterium : (

and you can only use "destined by fate" if you fail a save. not on devastating wounds
was never taking any bonuses from Magnus, not sure where that confusion was. The vortex beast however DOES have Devestating built into 1 of his profiles

This is Mubin’s best game so far… he is improving !!
My two favorite factions on tabletop clashing! I can't cheer for either side because I like both so much! No matter the way this game goes it'll be a real slobberknocker of a match!
I love Michael’s army. So well painted. I hope someday I can paint as good as this. I love my Necrons and have been painting for just over 90 days. Already built and painted over 4500 points. Awesome video as always.

I love how they use music in these games, it makes it feel more enticing and enjoyable. And for those wondering, one of the somgs is called bad by royal deluxe. And its unsed multiple times but its spaced out which makes it nice.
This makes me hate Necrons so much more but I still enjoy watching Micheal play

Playing a few years Necrons, my one and only faction, since a week thinking about getting to start with TSons, so this match was truly fun to watch, rooting was troublesome bc likey these will be my faction armies from now on. really like those battlerep vids

Mubin was behind the eight ball from the first round. Its hard enough to come back from a 20 point deficit, but Michael extended his lead to 30 points by the end of the game. The dice betrayed Mubin early on, but they came back to him later, though that stilk couldn't save hin from a number of tactical mistakes.

Magnus and the nightrbinger fighting is the sort of thing you'd see on a metal album cover.
Also, picturing magnus and ahriman bickering afterwards as to WHO was more or less competant is fun too.

@@superficialme I was running 2 initially but between Points changes and looking at getting the best use out of the units I do have, I've actually droped both a rhino and MVB since this game was played

Fun game would of been cool to see a less meta necron list. Couple cool different lists coming out lately. When i saw 2 ctan and monolith i rolled my eyes slightly. Thats been played to death by alot around the world

I love the sportscaster vibes, but might I suggest leaning into more. Like when figures die you could label what they are or how much damage a model has taken or has left, like health bars or something? It would add to the atmosphere and keep everyone fixed on every concurrent event.

The recent Nerfs to Points realy Hurts this list ! you can still run 2 C´tan and a Monolith but you need to make cuts on the other Units
