Reminder to everyone to also do these exercises with your shoulder in use as apposed to your wrist! When you do the shapes larger mainly because you don't want to end up damaging your wrist.

👍 good exercises to warm up, but as a beginner, as I am, I think this is a good way to just draw "anything" just make a drawing game out of these exercises.

Facts... I've spent months trying to find tutorials by a left handed artist. Out of frustration I began training my right hand.

@@davetozin9502 I'm newb newb (also left handed) but I would want to believe that it doesn't really matter whether one's left or right handed for sketching

Olga, thanks for the exercises. I had fun doing it. However, I was curious to know the why behind every exercise. I mean, I know the entire exercise is for us to train our hand, but when we draw rectangles or lines for example, what's the purpose of it? My question may be silly but I'm a beginner and I'm just trying to understand the importance of learning every curve and lines. Thank you

    • @kamoree7784

Since drawing is all about shapes and lines when you get good as drawing shapes and lines it will be easier to draw and put together a drawing that you would love
