Autumn has done quite a few videos so beautifully edited by now, with a good touch of humor and like on the races with "good pace". It's good to see Gamers Nexus growing from the tinny room to the first rented place and then to the new one bigger and so on. Your in depth analysis videos are so needed Steve. Thank you from Chiapas MEXICO, and if you or any of your crew visit Chiapas some day contact me and I will give you some good organic coffee to bring back to your GN quarters, and it's on me, free for all of you. Thank you again Steve
Love office tours. Cross creator (platform) videos are great. Keep up all the fantastic work and your ability to make things not only understandable but extremely entertaining.
No joke I was just thinking about how smart this guy is. Does anyone know what his degrees, certs or expertises are? Dudes literally a nerd version of Kobe. I must know his ways. Edit: Annnnd I just realized this was posted 5 days ago. I hate TH-cams subscription and bell notifications never working.

As an awkward, introverted nerd seeing Steve and Wendell interact reminds me so much of the interactions between me and my college friends. It's so painfully awkward in the absolute best way and only in that way that two nerd friends can be together: Just two dudes talking tech. This is why I subscribe to both of your content.
Hehe, you can clearly see that "the fan machine" is Steve's pride an joy, the "OK" he said and he was so excited and quick to move upstairs that Wendell almost couldn't finish the question :)
Oh damn that brings back memories, one of my first tasks of my career was writing software for "ancient" (80s and 90s) oscillisopes. Now these ones you showed are actually ancient. Brilliant!
Hahaha! the face Steve makes when Wendell uses the DIY cold fusion analogy is probably the nicest, funniest way to let someone know when they've gone too far trying to get a point across... Love it.
I've been wanting to take one of those old oscilloscopes and turn it into a pc where you could also display on the CRT, but there's one piece of the puzzle missing: the skills.
Iirc, both IBM and HP made computers in this kind of form. Long time ago though. You might find them cheap somewhere. Also, there’s less knobs than on an oscilloscope
And now for our next featured presentation: L1techs office with all the trimmings. I suspect that Steve's office is meant for generating content, but I'm willing to bet Wendell's dark cave is meant for fighting the darkest timeline. Let us see!
I do like when you two get together. Quite different primary interests/expertise but the overlapping areas are just about right. A shame you're not geographically closer, could collab on many projects to create some awesome content pieces.
Fantastic stuff gents! Steve's effort to genuinely test products with this level of transparency is a wonder for us tech dorks, plus repurposing older useful tech that was destined for waste is a fantastic thing. Wendell appreciating everything along the way is just delightful. Still hilarious Steve's stuck with the Gamer's Nexus company name.
I love to see you both interacting. Pentium Pro! I'm always looking for that box in your set! I was so happy when I got mine, not at launch and only the 256KB L2 cache version, but it was awesome to have a 200Mhz CPU before Windows 95 was released... not many young persons know that current Intel CPUs are way more related to that CPU than to the Pentium 4.
Yup. Intel left turned and went Pentium II. I was a owner and proud proponent of it at the time. I mean, they were giving away Pentium Pros for nothing to make room for the II. I still envied people who had a dual Pro motherboard and the larger cache models.
@@Hypn0s2 years later when they released the Pentium-II Overdrive for socket 8 I already had a PII 300, damnit... On a motherboard that only was capable of 66MHz FSB, it kind of burned me a little too much so in my next build I banned Intel and went with a Slot-A Athlon.

You already have 240V in your home. You just need a really long extension cord from your laundry room or get an electrician to install a 240V outlet next to your fuse box, unless you want to mess with the bus bars in your fuse box which might get you into all kinds of trouble or result in injuries or death if you don't know what you're doing.
