Men of War 1 is a great single player experience. I recommend it.
Men of War Assault Squad 2 has mods that essentially bring back the campaigns from the older titles, including Fog of War. I simply recommend that title an the free mods and you'll have the same experience.

С 2008 облизываю серию игр ВТВ вдоль и поперек. И спустя 12 лет наконец-то подвезли Experience контент по мужикам войны. Я рад, что живу в правильное время.
У него ещё "опыт" роты героев есть и айрон харвеста. Все последние выпуски ржу как дурак, жалко, что так мало. Надеюсь, что конец видео(где он показал немецкую кампанию), это не всё и мы увидим ещё немного рофлов из этой кампании и британской.

@@ductusfructus в тылу врага 2: лис пустыни в английской версии называется просто men of war(в тылу врага, а если дословно и меметично мужики войны). Хотя я думал, что он начнёт сразу проходить В тылу врага 2: Штурм(там есть много миссий на прохождение за разные нации, но без сюжета). Хотя вспоминая миссии Бокаж, Курск или же Ленинград, мне дико хочется ржать с происходившего в них, даже мемов не надо. Кол-ва вражеской техники на экране достаточно, для истерического смеха.

This is the most difficult and realistic RTS I have played in my life. Collect ammo from the corpses is not very usual in this kind of games.
Try Graviteam Tactics: Mius-Front. This is hard. Men of war is pretty easy, first time i play it when I was 10.

This game was my first strategic game ever. W bought it in one of polish supermarkets 9 years ago. I love this game for destructin of all objects and i love it for great campagains like alexey kuzniecov and victor smirnov history. Wow this game was made in 2009 and for me its still great.
It was my second game after some 2. I lost the disck of aoe 2 and was so sad, then I went to a cubercaffe and I saw this game, I though ohh it has a badass soldier I want it. And bang a super nice game
I remember game looks kind close to this game, "soldiers-Men of honor"
And it was great (I played it When i was a kid XD)
Good old memories (BTW I am Polish too)
it was my first strategic too
and i'm honored to still play it sometimes

Good thing SevenTePe left out the 3 million reloading of saved games you will make as you desperately try to keep comrade boris and his stolen panzer 2 alive(could be just me though but it's the grand theft auto part of the game that really gets me going)

The only similarities with Company of Heroes is that it's set in WW2 and it's a strategy game
World in Conflict then, only similarity is being strategy
All the rest is completely different, the gameplay is way different, you need to make sure you have ammo, fuel, that you take as little casualties as possible since you hardly ever can request reinforcements, and if the main characters die, get ready to start over
It's easier to say that WiC is a COH rip off with modern setting or vice versa, than unironically saying that Men of War is a copy of anything

Very fond memories of playing through the (Soviet) Campaign in co-op back when. Fun fact: in co-op, you just have the missions, not the connecting cutscenes. Boy was it fun trying to piece together what the fuck was going on as we jumped around between characters and locations and eventually started hunting down 'the documents'

Holy crap original MOW was this much fun game?! Damn you seems like had a lot of fun while i was suck at playing MOW campaigns.
(I even failed that damn first mission with KV-1 several times!)

@@comradeshaslik5766 it is yes. you Get the whole campaign of the first game with the improved Graphics and Performance of the second Assault squad game. But be careful, you cant change the volume of the cutscenes and they are pretty loud.

The first two games were just a masterpice, Assault squad sucks, second part of Assault squad is holding beacuse of the mods, arena seems fine for me, but i cant play it now, beacuse its not ready in my country, or something. English is not my passion.
For me Men of War arena is a masterpice, adding new venicles, two t34 (t34/76/43 and t34/85) have aa machine guns, and its feels like a first MoW, but reskined, and adding things, that are created by community (a lots of new venicles are, probably, inspired by Robz realism and valour mod)
I'm mainly waiting for Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront, since it will be running on the CtA engine which doesn't make you freeze whenever something explodes.
Oh and yeah, Arena is only available in Russia and its associate countries (Belarus).

Never played the game but it's great to see rarely shown vehicles like the german 8-wheeled scouts that are not Pumas.
I never heard about this game, but I immediately loved a montage and memes. It's hard to make RTS look funny, so I guess you could make any game look fun and great.

All of this is in the first MOW? I played these very same missions in MOW Assault Squad 2. Without the cut scenes and soundtrack. Factory defense with light tanks one low ammo T34 and heavy and light at guns, getting the officer out of the camp, welding into the submarine to use it to blow the barge, all of that is in MOWAS2! Again minus all of those cutscenes which actually look great.
