They're sort of like unoffical symbols of potential. Its like the spiritual equilavent of how shells in nature keeping contorting into the golden spiral. Or how molecules keeping decaying towards stable combinations of Protons, Neutrons & Electrons. Or how crabs keeping showing up in different periods of Earth's history. Kuribohs keep returning because they just fit the natural criteria of how things should exist. Despite self-destructing upon contact with the enemy, Kuribohs, as a concept, are kind of immortal. They just spawn out of the Aether of Yugioh and will do so forever...
10:16 Ironically enough, this artwork is 100% accurate to the established YGO Duelist manga design starting from Kuriboh's second appearance in Yugi's duel against Kaiba and his Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon onwards. The yellow limbs, lack of nails, the many Kuriboh's in the background in reference to multiply being used during that duel, even the pose is taken straight from the panels.

It's only a matter of time before Konami makes a Kuriboh that directly supports HERO because THEMING. We got a Dark Magician Kuriboh already after all.
The entire Manga to Anime to Game line in this game is so scuffed when talking about the multiply manga/anime effect and artwork. A lot of older cards got their artwork adapted straight to the card from Manga and the GX manga writers often had blurbs talking about how often they had to change card effects to make the storyline work. This gets multiplied further when you then have to adapt it to a 20 minute episode. Hell, the entire first series of cards was almost card for card based on the "Duel Monsters" game in the original series more than the actual real world game.
Hearing that Jimbles actually likes Rush Duels after the HardLegGaming videos warms my ice, cold, dead heart that the terrible switch game’s reception left me in.
Kuribandit is an eldery Kuriboh who lost an eye in battle and some of his finger nails. He didn't grow fangs but let his dentist make ones out of the gold he stole over the decades. Also fixing his finger nails making them shiny.
When they talked about clear Kuriboh and testicular torture I got an ad for man scaped joining up with testicular cancer research and I think that says a lot about Kuribohs as a whole
I always imagine Wretched Ghost in the Attic is what happens when girls don’t grow out of their hippie phase from college and the dreadlocks and stench just consume them entirely.
Multiply may be a pretty bad card unless you happen to also have Kuriboh (and maybe detonate too), but I had a lot of fun using it in my Kuriboh troll deck a while ago. It mainly involved using as many variants of Kuriboh as possible and combining them with Link Summoning for shenanigans. Good times.
They could have given the OG Kuriboh the effect it had in the anime where it reduced the attack by 300 of a monster it used the effect on him or attacked and if 0, destroy that monster. And keep multiply, not even all 500 below monsters, but any Kuri monster. And give the tokens the ability to copy the original effect. Slap a no Extra Deck clause on them.
I think relinkuriboh is meant to be kuriboh after being absorbed by thousand eyes and then spat out. Which means it should look like thousand eyes and not relinquished, but details.

The entire Manga to Anime to Game line in this game is so scuffed when talking about the multiply manga/anime effect and artwork. A lot of older cards got their artwork adapted straight to the card from Manga and the GX manga writers often had blurbs talking about how often they had to change card effects to make the storyline work. This gets multiplied further when you then have to adapt it to a 20 minute episode.
Hell, the entire first series of cards was almost card for card based on the "Duel Monsters" game in the original series more than the actual real world game.
Only the first series was based on a Manga. For the rest of the series, the anime came first.

Multiply may be a pretty bad card unless you happen to also have Kuriboh (and maybe detonate too), but I had a lot of fun using it in my Kuriboh troll deck a while ago. It mainly involved using as many variants of Kuriboh as possible and combining them with Link Summoning for shenanigans.

They could have given the OG Kuriboh the effect it had in the anime where it reduced the attack by 300 of a monster it used the effect on him or attacked and if 0, destroy that monster. And keep multiply, not even all 500 below monsters, but any Kuri monster. And give the tokens the ability to copy the original effect. Slap a no Extra Deck clause on them.

I think relinkuriboh is meant to be kuriboh after being absorbed by thousand eyes and then spat out. Which means it should look like thousand eyes and not relinquished, but details.
