Well, he doesn't even overland so...
I have the same HF generator, they work really well, ran it for 7 days straight during hurricane irma power outage in my area... something i do now and use when im camping is i have an old 2 battery computer UPS laying around that i replaced the internal dead batteries with lithium replacements, i run the camping frig off of it for the weekend. The 2 batteries have no problem powering it for 3+ days...

The heat really wasn't that bad. Just bring some fans to keep the bugs away and cool off while sleeping.

Another good video Kevin. Question, how does you're group you camp with deal with bathroom duties? Does someone bring a rv style toilet or something? Do all those camp spots have facilities? Thanks for putting out great content!
It's pretty much everyman for themselves when it comes to the bathroom. But in Florida, 75% of the places we camp have either a full restroom or an outhouse.

Men I was thinking in taking my family there, but after what you show about nighttime activities in ginnie springs, my wife probably would start walking out of there in the middle of the night jajajajaja
It's not like that all the time. Sometimes it's quiet by 11pm. But since everything else is mostly closed. This is very busy.

@@OverlandFlorida I'm in the middle of 10 days at Long Point Park in Melbourne Beach. The weekends are always booked so you have to plan ahead.

Show up Thursday or early Friday morning. Anything along the river near the boat ramp. The sites aren't numbered.

I'd say 10am on Friday to get a site. We camp on the river, not the springs.

We've been steadily camping once a week all summer. It's pretty bad at times.

Hey Kev, My definition of overlanding is not being around a bunch of noisy people acting a fool and playing load music. Given what you do, you put yourself at risk just being around those people. I sure hope you filmed this last year and not during this Covid BS that we all are dealing with right now. I enjoy all of your camping/overlanding videos you create but I am giving you a thumbs down for this one. I am sure you and your friends had a great time but next time weight the risks. Safe travels brother...
