I was there this week. My husband, sister, and sister’s husband went on a short trip. The springs weren’t as busy as I’ve seen them get in other videos I watched for research purposes, but there were people there. Luckily not enough to make it feel crowded. We floated down the river on an inflatable rafter and got to see lots of turtles and just soak up the sun. We viewed Dogwood Spring and then walked to Ginnie Spring and swam there. The springs are sooooo clear and cool and refreshing. They are beautiful. I definitely recommend bringing or renting goggles/diving mask to view the water from underneath the surface. It is gorgeous. We stayed in an AirBnb right around the corner from the Great Outdoors restaurant and we traveled to Gainesville to experience other restaurants, including Gator’s Dockside that had an amazing Cajun shrimp pasta. I highly recommend staying in High Springs or Gainesville and going to Ginnie Springs.
This is a great spring, perfect for kids. We used to go when the kids were in elementary school and they loved it. Does get busy in summer and holidays.
two separate murders there this weekend. open air drug use every day of the year. you are a FOOL if you bring children here. absolutely infested with drunk lowlifes.
Are dogs allowed? The springs are beautiful. I have a black lab and a Golden retriever and they love water. The Springs are absolutely beautiful. Thank you. Bob
Best time to visit if your a non party person is winter, early fall and spring and weekdays. Worked there part time for 8 yrs at rentals and spring attendant at the. Main spring and Devils.
And...72 degrees sounds comfortable, give it about 15-20 minutes, it will feel like ice. It's so clear that when diving, if you didn't see the bubbles it would seem as if you were floating above the ground.
It can be a dangerous place. 4 people were shot and 2 died in separate incidents during Memorial weekend. It is so sad what that beautiful place has turned into.
That's every Memorial Day. Dumb young college kids drinking more than they can handle is the norm most every night there. The only reason it's quiet in her video is because they finally passed out at 5AM and are still asleep.
My first follow on your tours- as a native floridian, I must say, this is a wonderful video. A clean, empty park with cool, clear water is very attractive and not a hard sell. Your production level is beyond media professional , as you left out a lot of random interviews. Well narrated and recorded. Good videographer- establishing shot-check! 🐊One and done- subscribed.
Am I the only person to think “gators in river and springs equals gators”? Have there been gators sitings at all? Surely there has. I live about 9 hours north and they’re in our rivers.
My guess. Greenland Iceland. Iceland is beautiful an plush. Greenland is a floating ice cube. So The Vikings Completely Missnamed it to miss lead people. An Yrs ago Best way to keep people away. Is saying haunted what better way is calling it the Devil
It's important for people to know that the brown color of the Santa Fe River comes from the tannic acid released by all the leaves that fall in it, not from pollution.
We started going there in the early 80s. And probably 3-4 times a year. But no more. This is not a hidden gem any more. All of the area springs are so over crowded. Weekends are horrible, loud Spanish music plays all knight. 10 o'clock is supposed to be quite time at night but no one their to enforce that rule. Employees leave at the end of the day,and you are on your own. NO PIECE AT ALL BECAUSE EVERYBODY NOW BRINGS GENERATORS,HUNDREDS OF THESE THANGS RUN ALL NITE LONG. TO POWER STEREO EQUIPMENT AT HIGH LEVELS. FEELS LIKE AFTER A HURRICANE HAS COME THROUGH. THE SPANISH COMMUNITY HAS TAKEN OVER THIS WITH NO REGARD TO ANYONE ELSE. IF YOU GO HERE I RECOMMEND GOING ON TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY. TO AVOID ALL THE RIFF RAFF,DOPE SMOKE AND JUST A TON OF UNRULY DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE.
It’s like that everywhere you go nowadays. But only on the weekends cause the poor have to work so yea just go out during the weekdays and there should be mostly rich whites who are always quiet, respectful, fearful of immigrants and dead inside. You might get the rich black group made up mostly of college kids, so you might have to listen to some rap against your will but don’t confront them cause they might be rich but they still black and they will fist fight you faster than you can say “honey, call 911” so don’t embrace new cultures or interact with new people. Stick with your own kind at all costs and enjoy the water. 😂
I was never a fan of camping and I love camping at Ginnie Springs. But if you’re going that route (camping) during summer weekends, it’s best to get there at least Friday noontime to grab a spot, especially during a long holiday weekend.
We put our boat in up river at Rum Island and go to the springs from the river, anchor or tie off to a limb and do our diving of the caves and caverns from our boat, Ginnie springs has No control over you by doing it this way!
There are lots of amazing zip line places in Florida! I don’t remember something called tree forest though! Sadly we don’t have content on that yet but maybe we can visit!
This place has been a cess pool for over 15 years. Just had another murder there. Open drug use, drunks and open air sex. The spring is closed at this time, they are being sued because of the murder. They had over 20000 people there and almost no security.
One word, COLD. And for you adventurers, the black river it feeds into, is loaded with gators. Do not walk upstream to the other springs and think you will float down the river to Ginnie Springs. Bad idea.
Beautiful springs but don’t go during holiday weekends or spring break. Gets too crowded and people act stupid. A man got shot and lost his life this past Memorial Day weekend over a fight for a parking spot.
@@apuz13 I might add if you go into the ballroom at the grate it's about 55 if I remember right. If your cavern the Devils system in the gallery area is about 60. If your cavern certified most of the tunnels are around 90 but can get deeper or shallower. If your a really advanced cave diver the new section has some deeper areas
Lots of people bring kids but it’s about 3 feet deep in the shallowest parts so it’s not good for super little ones. Think of it like the shallow area of the pool with steps. There isn’t a little beach area
Isn't there alligators in every body of water in Florida? No, really, because Ivsee people swimming in there all the time and all I can think of is, what about the alligators.
Very beautiful springs, but it is privately owned, and they don’t even allow you to bring your pets. What kind of natural part doesn’t allow you to bring your dog to go camping or even walk around the springs I would never give these people my money.

I love it there! Such a pretty place!
It really is!
@@FollowMeAwayis there a possibility a gator 🐊 can go in that water ?

Thank you for this comment!!! Ginnie is truly one of my fave places in the whole world! And I love that restaurant!
Definitely on my bucket list now! So beautiful ❤
Thank you!
It looks spectacular there, and I am impressed with how clear the water is. This makes me want to take a trip to Florida!!!
It’s worth it!!!
This is a beautiful video, thank you. I shall have to see the springs. They all look awesome. ❤
You need to go!!!
Are there gators in there
On my bucket list for sure!!!! 🌴
It is worth it
Such a beautiful spring! Fantastic job with this video! The filming and editing are great, TJ! 😄Loved the scene cut when Victoria dived in!
Thank you! He did a great job!

30 years ago it was amazing.
Im curious about this take. What makes it less amazing now aside from the fact that other people know about it now?
@@thugsy15Don’t want to sound racist but most people don’t like it anymore because it’s 99% Hispanic people there it’s almost like they live there.
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for the info. Will put on my bucket list.

Spent my 40th birthday there. Absolutely love it!
Yay!!! One of my faves

Try diving in ice. 22.2 degrees Celsius is wayyyyy hotter that the Great Lakes ever get. That is just 3mm at the most.
I did my dive training here! So great to see this here. The visibility of this spring is unbelievable
Love this!!!!
So did I, 45 years ago. It was an amazing experience. I didn’t enjoy the constrictions very much, but I survived.
Nowadays, No more course allowed
I remember Ginny Springs from the Late 60’s We actually had problems finding it each time and traversing the dirt road.
Yeah the water is beautiful but Gators would be on my mind

Can’t just swim there knowing a alligator 🐊 could drown me and eat me ❤
You wouldn't feel it. Gators usually rip your head off first, then eat you.
Yes, because alligators are known for seeking out cold spring water. (sarcasm)
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
There is a lot to gain in Gainesville and you definitely flourish in Florida.
72° feels 42° 😆 that water always feels so cold to me so I often just sit watching my kids play and swim but our springs are beautiful
It does feel cold if it is hot out! I’ve gone when it’s 50F out and the water felt good those days but getting out was awful ahahahha
Am I the only one disturbed that all the names were devil something... no thank you. On to my next destination

Bring the kids and dogs. Gators love em
It can be a dangerous place on weekends and holidays, this is definitely not a family place during those time periods. During the week, not so bad.

My brother goes to UCF and his fraternity just went there to party. Is is not a fun place unless you’re 21 and stay up all night lol
Don't worry it won't be around too much longer with global warming and Florida's lack of environmental controls.😒
Time to send the criminals back home!

Ah hello, there are lots of natural springs in Florida.
Love this place but there was a double shooting there last weekend. Kids just don’t know how to party nowadays
Been may time scuba diving
I want to visit there.
You should!
So when did you go when it was so clear and uncrowded that’s what I need to know
5 hour drive from Fort Lauderdale to this Springs.
Yep :( sadly the springs are all central or north florida
"Hidden gem" which is overcrowded with drunk college kids. Very hidden
Why are there no fish in this spring like you see in other springs in Florida?
Hey I heard that Florida had a Tree Forest that you could zip line. Is that true? Have you been there?
There are lots of amazing zip line places in Florida! I don’t remember something called tree forest though! Sadly we don’t have content on that yet but maybe we can visit!
I can’t believe people are just out here playing in floridan water not worrying about alligators 👀
Nope not worried at all personally. It’s clear and often busy and cold. Three things alligators don’t prefer
It's Florida.... There's gators. It's what we do.

It gets so busy there now it’s probably not good for the environment
Only on some weekends and some holidays. Otherwise it’s not really that busy
They didn't say anything about Gators, but since its fresh water in Florida.... I'm just gonna assume they be there. No ty.
I wanna come
Aligators eat for free!👍
Beautiful springs but don’t go during holiday weekends or spring break. Gets too crowded and people act stupid. A man got shot and lost his life this past Memorial Day weekend over a fight for a parking spot.
Is that who they were looking for at ginnie springs
Yup. Two people from Georgia were arrested the same day believe.
Two people died over memorial. Both the park and police have put measures to make it safer including park limits
Why are there no fish?
Any gator on the river
LMFAO....Hidden gym!?!? it's a party super spot for UF
Are there any crocodiles or alligators around there?
What about gaters
How deep are these springs?
The main Spring it's a little less than 20 ft. Little Devils 40 ish, Devils Eye 20 ft and Devils Ear about 30 to 40

Where is it?
High springs Florida
Hidden gem lol everyone goes there it gets packed and trashed
I wouldn’t be caught dead swimming in any natural body of water in Florida. Too many gators and snakes
Paying for access within America is bad. And, any payment should be lower cost, allowing access to everyone.
Im with you, but think about all the trashy people that would show up there with loud speakers, littering, 50 kids per family, etc
Way cheaper than Disney and much preferred by me
I wanna go but i cant swim
Definately take swim lessons first!!
Isn't it dangerous to swim since gators are in there?
How are the gators not infesting that place ?
Too cold water
Isn't there alligators in every body of water in Florida? No, really, because Ivsee people swimming in there all the time and all I can think of is, what about the alligators.
I live in Florida. Never been to Ginnie springs. Heard it is party central and littered with drug paraphernalia.
Maybe a few weekends a year. Otherwise it’s amazing
What about alligators???
Hidden... LOL.
Can I fish in it?
No

Why does it have to be called something some demonic. Or something associated to eternity of misery
Just read the reviews. Not ever going.
Cultural enrichment has sadly ruined this place
Only on holiday weekends or spring break…..
