You guys are amazing! I’ve been watching since the beginning and your videos keep getting better. I love the mix of information, comedy, and realness you guys put in your videos. I’m from Florida and just moved back until i get my RV and i love the Florida videos. Keep up the amazing work and hope you guys continue to grow! ☺️
We are a fulltime sailing family of 5 who bounce in and out of Florida. We spent last hurricane season in the Dominican Republic and are currently in Guatemala. We usually stay in the Keys but have stayed in Jacksonville. We sailed down from NY and have no desire to move back to snowy winters. I can say Florida has a lot to offer for family fun and not everything is expensive
One nice RV park is actually a city park in Jacksonville. It's called Hanna Park, it is on the ocean, but the rv park portion is actually very woody, and you forget you are near the ocean.
Love this video!!!! I live in Florida and we try to take our camper to a new spot in our state every month!!! You have to check out the springs next year!! Try blue springs state park, Wekiwa springs state park or rainbow springs state park!! You have to book all of them 11 months in advance!!! If you have any Florida questions please ask away!! Love you guys and love following your adventures!!
Viper max Highly concentrated solution take 2 packets mixed in a gallon of water put some of that in a spray bottle spray down your entire RV on the outside spray around all the corners on the inside and even take a little bit of the stuff and pour it over your roof I have so recommend cleaning mopping your floors and wiping down your surfaces with a mixture of vinegar alcohol peppermint based soap a little peppermint oil mixed with detergent and I have found a 95% improvement in my past reduction doing these things
I’m in the market for a square drop and was thinking of “RV’ing” through Florida. Have you had any issues with a teardrop at RV parks yet? Or do find it easier considering it’s a smaller rig?
Dude! Love you guys and great timing. Wife and I just checked into Ocean grove rv resort in St. Augustine today for a week. We been traveling the east cost for the past few days coming from South Carolina. Keep up the great work guys!!
The heat and humidity of the South East is no joke. I put 1,200 watts of solar panels on my van roof so I can run my 9,000 btu Pioneer mini split 24/7. Great video, definitely a thumbs up 👍
One problem in Florida is that we get all of the horrible drivers from the rest of the country, sometimes the world. Being behind a Chinese driver who is going backwards on I4. Because they missed their exit is always a treat!
Recently came across your channel. You guys are awesome! You put out great content and I’ve been doing a marathon watching your channel. We live in St Augustine and also Rv. The difference with us is we stay in our home all winter here and then head north in the summer. Can’t handle the summers here. Safe travels and keep up the great videos.
I always watch your videos multiple times until I soak all the information you provide and that helps a lot on my future trips to Florida. I am from Dallas Texas and I am planning on retirement somewhere closer to one of the white sandy beaches ( after 10 years though ) . Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you for saying : There are no more crazy people in florida than anywhere else. We always get slammed with the " florida Man" stuff. Thanks, I like you and your wife.
Love your videos & travels! Hey, for FL mosquitos & no-see-ums & probably flies, get a Thermocell at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot... They have them for hunters, hikers & as a lantern for a picnic table. It uses butane to heat up a pad thats saturated in some kind of repellent and works fantastic in a 15 foot radius!! Good luck & happy travels!!
Thanks for all the great info. I can’t wait to camp in Florida. I am planning to retire next year and will be planning a trip to “The Keys”. Keep those great videos coming.
Great video, you really hit the nail on the head. We just left Florida after 4 months as snowbirds. We spent all our time in St. Augustine, lots of traffic and building going on. Keep the videos coming.
Great video as always, guys! Try opening your AC unit up and using Aluminum Foil Tape to seal any areas where hot air meets cold air. It will keep the unit running more efficiently and reduce condensation. Safe travels!
Also reflectix insulation from Home Depot is a cheap & easy way to keep the heat out during the day. Your rig may feel like a crack house with no sunlight but you do what you gotta do to stay cool!
I just came across your channel and this is only my second video. You two are way cool! I really enjoy how you present your experiences. All the best. Jim from Georgia
Really GREAT video guys!! 2 things....first we really can't say much about "old people" aka retire-es cuz that's us, but once you get past the smell of Ben-Gay and urine, they're pretty cool and second......another camping option is in some of the state forests of Florida. there are some that have electric hook ups and and are really affordable! Thanks for such an entertaining video!!😎👍
I can tell you I live here in fl once you have lived here the hot weather doesn’t bother you anymore and wen it’s gets to 65 out side I’m wanting to put my jacket on lol
There's few rules...if there's fresh water, there's 100% guarantee that gator is looking at you as if you are 5 star food on two legs....stay within a beach and make sure there's one person is slower simmer than you in front of you.
If there is no sewer hook ups and the place is cool with it, as some places are, barely crack your grey tank (only you gray tank obviously NOT your black tank) to a slow to moderate drip. It will slowly drain itself over night and absorb into Florida’s dry soil and your gray tank will be empty in the morning. This is the best tip I have ever received from other RVers. You can loosen your outside cap and even leave it on and it will still drip. Use environmentally friendly soaps (dawn and homemade soap with natural products only) if you do this. It’s basically like garden hose water. You can stay on site longer and make fewer trips to the dump station. You can also take showers in your RV. You can do this with us in Florida...in California they may put you in Rv jail b/c you’ve broken 6 or 8 laws or local ordinances. That’s what I love about Florida...freedom , love and wearing flip flops anywhere. Take care love your vids see you out there. PS my daughters name is Olivia too
We agree with others - Thermocell for the bugs + bug spray and they will leave you alone. Others swear by Skin So Soft but I haven't tried it. But if you're coming back to Florida next year, you MUST come to our stomping grounds, the Forgotten Coast. It's old Florida and is still really natural. St George Island and St Joseph Peninsula are our favorites for beach camping, though the latter is currently under construction. Happy camping!
Check out the free water management sites in Florida for free camping if you can do boondocking ..if you're ever in Cristal river Florida try Cody's road house restaurant . It's my favorite and check out Cader Key too .
Even as a resident of Florida for 10 years, I still very much enjoy your series!!! As a side note - Nathan, you should get yourself colorful shirts!!! No-one wears black in the sun here! Get yourself some flamingos, seafood, pelicans, palms t-shirts and more flip-flops! Also, don't forget about Reef Friendly sunscreens to save the turtles. Loving your adventures. Maybe our paths will cross one day too (also FT RV-ers). Get some Bogo fruits from Publix and cut up ahead of time for the beach time. Mangos.... and Melons are yam! Get on some Pirate ships (drinks included, usually) or Catamarans! Stores like Five n Below, Dollar tree, Burlington will have everything you need beach wise. April to October are the toughest months really... It's so hot! Once the temps drop (around oct/nov), go to Bush Gardens in Tampa, Sea world, Universal or Disney. Those line are not existent plus the weather is amazing.

I feel ya on the fl weather. Born an raised in Jacksonville just north of st augustine
was entertained from start to finish. thanks guys
For the bugs try Skin So Soft . I think it’s made by Avon and it works very well in the marshes in Louisiana.
Awesome video guys😊
Thermacell works great. You can even get portable ones that clip to your belt. Great for fishing.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing and those things look great and useful.
Buy a dehumidifier. That will stop the mold. Your ac is being overwhelmed or your insulation is not good enough
