It is comfortable, but I wouldn't want to take a 6 hour long trip in it. It's not the most practical as it makes getting in and out of the car a bit more of a chore.
How did you get the right side of the seatbelt to mount like that? I just installed pole positions with the same rails and the angle of the bracket for the seatbelt prevents it from being angled upwards on the right side unless I was to bend it because it hits the side of the seat
On my last track with my WRX, I ended bruising the side of my knee from repeatedly sliding into the door. The factory seats are definitely not for pushing on the track and I will be wearing a knee pad next time.
Fixed back with stock restraints and no cage is a bad idea. The likelihood of an accident and hurting yourself is probably slim, but probably not something you should promote.
This channel is mad underrated, keep up the good work!
Much love man! This sort of vibe keeps me going!
@@KevinVo He is absolutely right man, the quality is superb!
@@turhanaral5637 thanks man! You guys are the reason why I do this stuff!
the seats look right at home in the FRS, thank you for the videos!
Thanks for watching! They really do fit perfectly in there.
Cars slowly coming together man !!!! Keep up the good work 💪
Slowly, but surely! Enjoying the process.
Can you do a tutorial of the 3.3 ohm resistor trick?
Nice stuff Kevin, is it practical and comfortable for daily or long distance drive?

I believe I actually bent the seat belt a bit to make it fit correctly.
Good bit about the seat belt. Hope it helps to save some lives out there.
I'd rather keep my head attached to my body!
Takata makes a daily driver style harness that one side come loose in the event of accident level g-forces.
would the recaro profi spg xl fit in the FR-S?
The WRX needs a new seat you know...
are you gonna change your seatbelt also? hehe
Nope, just stock seat belt for now until I get a roll cage in there, but that won't be for a while.
Hello,
I finished my assembly but the seat slides really hard! Do you have any advice?
Thanks
The seat rails are probably not parallel to each other making it hard to slide. You need to realign them so they are parallel.
@@KevinVo ok thanks for the answer but I was careful! I will recheck! thanks again
The seat you have in the car isnt the XL version right?
That's correct, it's not the XL.
@@KevinVo im torn between this and the pole position
This car looks familiar....
This is my FRS. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

You certainly get tossed around in the stock seats!

Why is a fixed back seat with stock restraints a bad idea exactly?
