      @DeadDodgeGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeahhhh… in my defense, the brake booster worked fine when I left. Occasionally the power brakes would be gone later in the trip, but then they would come back on the next hit - so obviously I knew something was wrong. The next trip I used it for was Bremerton drag strip with the Demon… and the power brakes were completely gone 😬

      It IS rare for an intercooler First Gen. ('91.5-"93) to get hot.
      The early '89-'91 would, with their smaller radiator.
      Somr '94-'02 ran too cold. The temp gauge would really move as the coolant cycled through the engine and radiator.

    When they're completely dead like that it's almost always the plastic gears in the dash gauge.
    If it bounces around (at least on the 4wds) it's the little box on the transfer case that converts the mechanical drive to electronic signal.

    My 1st Gen 12V threw the fan into radiator as well when I shut it off one day. My problem ended up being a blown trans mount. I replaced the engine mounts as well because the rubber was twisted and deformed. Haven't had an issue since replacing all three. Also had to get a new fan as well since it was mangled from when it became close friends with the radiator. Oh and a new radiator. FUN TIMES!!!

    • @DeadDodgeGarage
      @DeadDodgeGarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I thought mounts and inspected them months ago, and the morning after this happened. It didn’t appear that the drivetrain had shifted at all, but new mounts are definitely in my plan anyway. I seriously can’t believe it didn’t put any holes in the radiator… it just gave it a little kiss. Thankfully it was an aluminum fan, I’m sure that’s how I got away with it. The radiator has some corrosion and needs to be replaced eventually anyway. But it’s already been an expensive week without that.

    The Imperial is KING!!!!
    Although it takes a Hemi to power it, but that's OK too.

    Excellent editing once again, my cancer treatment has really effected my attention span , your videos keep me glued to the Tube. Unfortunately now I'm an hour behind the wet sanding I was planning on for my 73 Challenger.

      @@DeadDodgeGarageI can't help it that I have great taste in my YT repertoire! The only other TH-camr that keeps my attention is Anna Zapola...lol

      Zapala. Either way chronic fatigue limits my activity level.

    Use the Saratoga as a donor to restore the '60 New Yorker convertible. A 383 and non folding front seat would be worthwhile sacrifices to have one of the coolest cruisers of all time.

    Not going to lie, I like the Jag...I use to own Jerry Colangelo's '90 VDP Jag, sharp car & was not a pile

      I kinda like it too! Their inline six is neat, and I like the dash and interior. It’s definitely not my thing though.

      @@DeadDodgeGarage '90 is when the Ford money came online. Electronics & electrical systems were mostly German & Japanese, making them much better vehicles. I got the car for free, fixed some theft damage, found paperwork and Jerry confirmed that Jag of Scottsdale told him the engine was ruined, but it wasn't...the AJ6 4L is a really good engine

    The Lebaron is an H body. I like like it. Not a fan of the gold but you don't sit on the exterior. Think Pontic 6000, Chevrolet Celebrity Eurosport, Ford T-bird Turbo. All a little sportier than average.
