As discussed in the live, your videos are always a story. And I like that. As told however, I must now depart to watch Tom's side, and I know I'll like that too.
That Jaguars would be cool with an LS in it........yep....I said it. JTR got started by ..making SBC swap parts. In fact JTR stands for Jaguars That Run 😂
Now that was strange. Watching you deposit those cars one block from my house. The funny thing is I saw all those cars sitting there the other day and thought, hmm, where did those come from.
There will be a day when you look back upon these days quite fondly. This, I can guarantee. I'd prove it, but I've outgrown all the tee shirts.... - Ed on the Ridge
Wow that was some mission great teamwork to get all those cool cars and a mountain of parts out of there And you have a lift !!! Looking forward to seeing stuff go back together
You just drove across this wonderful country with a priceless Demon on its back with a cracked power booster. Awesome.😂 Brakes, who needs brakes. Love it.
Yeahhhh… in my defense, the brake booster worked fine when I left. Occasionally the power brakes would be gone later in the trip, but then they would come back on the next hit - so obviously I knew something was wrong. The next trip I used it for was Bremerton drag strip with the Demon… and the power brakes were completely gone 😬
We really wanted to move to eastern Washington when we left Snohomish but Jay Inslee, anyway those are some sweet cars, can't wait to see the super bird reassembled
I watched Tom’s video first, now I get to watch yours. And about an hour ago I saw a mint Orange-Blk vinyl top 69 Dodge Charger on the road. Life is good!!!!
Watching Toms and your videos help me with my Mopar (charger) addiction. Looks like it will be a nice super bird. And remember a good days labor always ends with a cold beverage(s).
I don't think people that don't live here realize that Western Orygun and Washington are COMPLETELY different than the other side of the Cascades. It's Idaho, Montana, Wyoming over there.
I actually wrote a letter to Galen Govier in mopar muscle magazine when I was a teenager in the mid 90's asking him questions and he responded as well about my 69 charger. Also had Dick Landy as well in mopar muscle tell me how to make a 383 dig like a badger. I still have them issues of mopar muscle.
Yes...i used to take parts into Dick Landys shop in his latter years ....he was all Biz...but a good guy...he had alot of neat pictures at his shop...at the time i remember him telling me that his sons were collecting vintage Mopars and parts.
I’ll tell you what, a ramp truck is fantastic! Loaded, unloaded, winching, and all the memories! You’ve been all over the place in that truck! What a great purchase and revamp. I really need one…
That super bird is awesome! I really like the fuselage imperial too. I really wanted to buy a nice 1971 imperial that was for sale locally last year. I unfortunately don’t have the garage space for any more old mopars. If I did I would probably have way too many.
Its nice to see a guy from Washington im in Tacoma i know where a blue 68-70 road runner has been sitting for 25 years and hasn't moved once near Tacoma im sure a million people have tried buying it but who knows mb the person is a fan
I recall a long ago ( 40 or more years ago? ) magazine (Motor Trend?) article where the author stated that the Superbird and Daytona would become the Duesenbergs of their day. Highly collectible with even reproduction parts being made. You could possibly build a duplicate car, if desired. Too bad I didn't take the article's advice! 😁
If you like antique buildings, you'll have to check out Chewelah and Colville. I love going to Spokane. The trip is nice, I can get Wendy's and Arby's and Mexican Cokes at Costco.... It reminds me what civilization is all about. People are cool in Spokane, too.
Dude, I can’t either. Miracle if miracles basically. I called and asked if they could order it for me and the guy was like “bad news, I can’t order it… good news, I have it on the shelf.” Way to make me crap my pants.
i hated that ride done that to many times. glad my trip was only the short version. cool to see all the cars you guys got. my daddy had a new yorker. what a boat. the old one will look good going down the road. and the lean on the corners will be like a carnival ride.
what a bountiful Mopar harvest, Imperials and Chryslers and Plymouth's Oh My! I like the "65 Imperial and the '60 New Yorker convertible. Amazing how you just attract Mopars that need some help and you provide it, your like a Mopar Doctor in ICU. lol. Dr. Oldsmobile step aside we have Dr. Jamie. Lots of work to do but should make great videos looking forward to the follow-up vid's on som of these patients .
There’s a lot of neat old buildings in Spokane. Next time you’re in town go grab dinner at the steam plant grill..one of the coolest spots in down town
Did you ever try to fix your speedometer? When they're completely dead like that it's almost always the plastic gears in the dash gauge. If it bounces around (at least on the 4wds) it's the little box on the transfer case that converts the mechanical drive to electronic signal.
@DeadDodgeGarage I'd be interested to know what it turns out to be. I doubt it's you're highest priority so WHENEVER that is, I'll stay tuned. I want to know who's right!😊 I'll honorably accept my defeat if it's electrical. SINCE it's 2wd, you have a GOOD chance of being correct on your diagnosis. If it was 4wd. I'd bet on myself.
Lol... ...get the fan assembly replaced....and check if theres play on the water pump shaft..maybe r & r the thermostat..flush the cooling system...pressure test the radiator cap...check hoses and belts....it should'nt be getting hot.
It IS rare for an intercooler First Gen. ('91.5-"93) to get hot. The early '89-'91 would, with their smaller radiator. Somr '94-'02 ran too cold. The temp gauge would really move as the coolant cycled through the engine and radiator.
Jack Palance owned a '60 New Yorker convertible. I know because I bid on it at the auction of his estate. Sadly, one person wanted it more than I. I lost it by one bid.
The rarest part on that Superbird is the rear window. Totally unobtainium. Actually - that nose is in nearly perfect condition. Wow, what a find! One of the best "barn finds" I've watched lately. Does the 'Bird come with the motor and transmission?
Yeah the nose cone is really, really good - which is shocking, frankly. It came with the numbers 4 speed and an earlier 440. We are planning to source a correct 1970 440 HP.
That’s what happened… they could’ve sold the wing car for almost as much as the package deal, but then would have had to deal with selling or disposing of everything else piece by piece. This was much easier for the sellers, and a fair deal for Tom. Not amazing, but fair.
My 1st Gen 12V threw the fan into radiator as well when I shut it off one day. My problem ended up being a blown trans mount. I replaced the engine mounts as well because the rubber was twisted and deformed. Haven't had an issue since replacing all three. Also had to get a new fan as well since it was mangled from when it became close friends with the radiator. Oh and a new radiator. FUN TIMES!!!
I thought mounts and inspected them months ago, and the morning after this happened. It didn’t appear that the drivetrain had shifted at all, but new mounts are definitely in my plan anyway. I seriously can’t believe it didn’t put any holes in the radiator… it just gave it a little kiss. Thankfully it was an aluminum fan, I’m sure that’s how I got away with it. The radiator has some corrosion and needs to be replaced eventually anyway. But it’s already been an expensive week without that.
@@DeadDodgeGarage I ended up swapping in an aluminum radiator. I feel ya on things being expensive. I have multiple projects myself and it can pile up quickly. Also just breathing nowadays is expensive 😂

A round of applause for the real hero, the winch👏
Damn right! So glad I stuck one of those on the back of my truck. It’s super handy.

That whole truck seems to be really handy.

That is one Tough-Ass old radiator in your Cummins 😎

I really like that thing. I don’t know if I like it enough to commit financially and drive back to Spokane.
This is why You and Tom are #1!!!!
A horde very close to me! So cool to see, thanks for taking us along for the ride
Thanks for taking us along!
Dang Man! I've always wanted to find a dusty old Superbird hidden out in a barn or shed somewhere! My all time favorite car!

Great video as always. Thanks Jamie. I'd have taken the bird, the 55 Imperial,...and the Jag...then "oops, gotta go!" 😂
