Funnily enough mate I met Shane at Hope Church in Newcastle when I was down on my luck and on the streets with my partner. Such an honest, down to earth and humble man. I remember shedding a tear to Shane and having these massive arms wrap around me, I thought I was suffocating from upset and heartbreak but no, he was genuinely comforting me in my time of need. I hope he gets the chance to see this but Shane mate, you had a huge impact in my life without knowing it. The fact you were honest, upfront and genuine deserves mad respect. Me and my partner found refuge that day and I honestly feel like you played a part. Mad love and respect big lad, keep telling your story and helping others. Was a pleasure to meet you and I'm overly grateful for your advice and help 👊

Yeah I totally agree , obviously ppl do make up finding religion to get out of trouble but you can’t just tell he’s being totally honest , it’s actually quite amazing and beautiful to see this big guy who was as brutal as can be talking about being sorry and praying and genuinely getting emotional when he’s talking about forgiveness . Also if you watch the difference between the smiles and laughs talking about the brutal stuff and then after he found Jesus were so different , the smiles at the end were just so genuine and relaxed. Also a guy who’s been diagnosed with serious mental health conditions of a very violent nature has been out of prison for 14 years and non Medicated and is still doing great , that’s amazing. All I can say is it’s inspiring and I truly hope to this day he’s doing great.

I remember watching Paul Venis talk about Shane a while ago and the fear of him. As a Christian listening to his testimony makes me proud of my brother in Christ . The passion he has for the Lord and his mindset now is beautiful to see.

Great to see someone like Shane turn his life around, hope he can help younger generations learn from his mistakes. This is a great advert for the fact punishment ( prison) doesn't work for most , what helps is kindness !! They can handle punishment any day of the week & twice on Sunday but kindness makes them think about things.

A powerful testimony. When you hear or see someone declaring they have a Christian faith it's a common misconception to assume their life must be a bed of roses or that they must think they're better than the next person. This isn't true as when you give your life to the Lord you are acknowledging that you're imperfect and want to be a better person. By studying the bible it helps you learn how you can achieve this. You still have struggles and pain as we are human and flesh but your faith is there to help you through. Shane is being used for a greater purpose.

Get saved while you can the tribulation is about to begin any moment I believe Christ died in 30AD that means tribulation is beginning this year! In the tribulation in order to be saved you must endure till the end you must believe in whom the father sent and you must build a testimony of faith.
Unless you get on the ark now you will have to face Gods wrath I suggest you get on the ark.
The good news is that Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again on the third day he became sin on the cross so that we may be justified to the holy father who is in heaven. He didn’t come to abolish Gods Holy law but he came to fulfill that law. We where born condemned with our sin nature it’s not God that condemns us.

Epic podcast, my favourite one to date. I’ve never listened to anyone and been able to relate so much in my life.
I haven’t led a criminal lifestyle but my brain ticks VERY VERY VERY much similar to you.
I’ve spent years battling myself mentally not being able to cope with feeling mugged off.
Re-thinking over and over again about how you will react, hurting people in my mind because it’s safer than throwing my life away, but it adds up in your mind.
I really struggle day to day with this mental state. The only thing that scares me in life is losing the only ones that really care. I don’t fear people either, what will happen will happen. Scary stuff

He was by far my favourite podcast guest..his story is so powerful ..I first seen him a few months ago on shaun attwoods channel... If u watch the other podcast it's a bit longer than this one ..but both equally good ..will defo be buying the book as with most of these guest the nitty gritty story's are in the books ..I enjoy these podcasts more than watching TV ..lights of befor bed with my eyes close I can picture the scenes and story's and I fall asleep at the end more easier than if i was watching TV or on my phone..thanks for this one James ..get him back for part 2 ....also big up Decca heggie as he has started the podcast game now and Shane Taylor will be on that in the coming months....also people there is a new Facebook page called Britain's underworld or something like that with guests ex gangsters ..one last thing I know I have mentioned other podcasters but there should be no bitching between them and they are all good and should help eachother as I've mentioned James English on other people's podcasts
