I feel your struggle mate and really wish you the best 👍. Nothing or nobody more dangerous than your own mind. Music helps sometimes, Ben Howard , keep your head up is my go to ❤️
I wish Paul’s interview was 3 hours long rather than the other dude who talks in riddles. Paul is straight down the line no bullshit without a massive ego. Brilliant one once again James👍 I look forward to the the upcoming episodes 🙌
There’s no other host that gives advice like James, always spot on and dead genuine. Paul is a good man at heart, with an old school mentality. He clearly needs help and I hope he gets it. His friends are looking to have him. Also noticed James always seems to get people on who have an amazing story but aren’t ‘mainstream’ names. Keep it coming.
I can see the anxiety in Paul and I can also see a very loyal and caring man What a fascinating story I wish Paul all the best in his life and hope that he gets help and starts to make peace with himself

Feel like his loyalty is tied to the approval that Paul got from his friend. It’s a very deep and dark cycle that he is in and It resonates so sincerely with me. I can feel his pain, tied to the family situation and the subsequent addiction issues. A huge warning to all of the dangers of not digging deeply into urself because it seems like he has transitioned the appreciation he required from his father even more deeply into gaining the recognition from people who don’t love him. This was one of the best interviews yet James, think you felt the same about it as you interacted really well and you can tell you connected with Paul. I mentioned in the live chat not long in about him holding his neck when he was going in to detail about stuff, surprised nobody else picked up on it, then you mentioned it near the end aswell mate 👍
Paul mentions about his lung problems. From an emotional point of view, lung problems are associated with unfelt sadness and grief. As men, we are told at a young age that we are weak if we cry, we get called a cry baby, a puff (not that I use that word) real men don't cry they say, and so we store our emotions and keep them locked up inside. Believe me, I know, cos Ive done it, but Im getting better at feeling my emotions and it helps so much for the mental state. Essentially a LOT of Men (and women, although women often feel more) deep down in our hearts we feel unloved, and we need to grieve that feeling to help ourselves heal.

One my favourite ones watched yet . Very likeable character
Cracking little podcast that james, easy top 5. Hope paul can get some help and sort his head out !!!!!! Looking forward to the next one.....
just watching this again as part 2 tomorrow , what a funking mental story .. part 2 is going mental , .. fair play to paul & yourself james for getting him on
I don't normally add to these comments, but that was excellent Paul.
Thanks and yeah I seen that a couple of times 👍🏼
This man is hard, deep and loyal! Listen carefully! 💯
What a excellent interview really interesting to listen to, thank you to both of you.
Your knowledge on mental health and how you pass that info on without being pushy with it is second to non regarding interviewers james
Who wouldn’t want this soldier in their corner? This die hard loyalty and honour is priceless in the right setting, absolute legend....
pats above this guy the Adams used to run london
Watch interviews with Billy Blundle, he says he gave it to patsy Adams on a couple of occasions in the nick and he just curled up into a ball.
@@scottspeed3431 listen to yammy, said pat weighed him in, blunders only got 1 punch in
Paul mentions about his lung problems.
Drivel.
Loyal man genuine as fck
Another quality podcast James 👍
Cheers Steve

1st time in my life i cried hard and let my feelings out, I have nearly a mirror life to this man and i'm 46 and i will keep going until lifed off or killed. Wish i could meet Paul for a chat as i cant see any change happening and haunted i nearly killed a mate recently, lucky for me he didn't go to police.
