Theres an 8mm adjustment bolt to set your headlights. Its located just below the main headlight Dust cap. Turn clockwise to lower it and counterclockwise to raise the beams.
I just need a tiny adjustment to the height cuz it feels like a slopes a bit too low right now. No worries, I won't adjust a crazy amount cuz I dont want to blind people but thanks for letting me know!
The turbo boosts about 18psi max stock. The turbo can boost more and the engine can take more but i'd suggest looking deeper into it cuz you'd have to worry about turbo life, added fuel delivery and engine longevity (also a tune to adjust ignition and all).
Great question. I'm running LEDs in all areas EXCEPT my high beams. From what I hear, you can run LED bulbs in your high beams as long as they're LED bulbs similar to the ones I used in this video (with a balast and all) as they will output low when in DRL mode and output full beam when highbeams are turned on. I'll look into doing those next haha
How much brighter are the HID? should I stick to those and or give this LED A chance? I had HID on my car before but I sold it and now looking to put this inside a 18 Toyota Tacoma with projectors
I would honestly say give these a try if you can. I personally like them over HID. I do believe with a really good HID kit (depending on the projector dome) you may be able to get a bit brighter and maybe a bit more distance.... but with my experience, aftermarket HID kits don't last as long, and if they do last, their quality does diminish over time. These have not let me down and the other night, I drove on an empty highway with no lights (way out in the boonies) and these things were amazing.
They've actually held up amazingly well. Rain, Shine, Car washing.... have not declined in performance or given me any grief. They technically even survived a small accident in where one headlight housing had to be replaced. Still highly recommend these!

what color did you go with ? i love video from ur fog light two color .. how are they working out i have the same veloster and thinking my lights will be the first mod .
Ya I just order my pair... But I have a 2014 Veloster did they change the blub size.. I see only some people have a h8 not sure what I have cause my car is 2014 but has everything 2015 has stock....I order the h11
What surging? I'm guessing you're having issues with the bulbs blinking or something similar? You need to make sure you have an H11 CANBUS Decoder/Resistor. Its that first item I installed into the headlight and than plugged the actual bulb into it. You can see the part at 3:09 in the video
If you're talking about a retrofit, than yes, that would be much better. But as a simple replacement with no other alteration, these bulbs are not low in brightness. I find them to be ample. Have I seen brighter? Yes. But also I try to keep it on the legal side of things.
9:40 - the headlights are adjustable, you need a long flathead/philipshead, they can go up, down, left, and right

There is a height and left and right adjustment screw behind headlight...the driver side not so much because you could blind drivers

This was my first mod on my VT you can just use tweezers to put the prongs in.
If you go from the top of the headlight you'll be able to adjust your headlight

It's up to you on brand. I personally like DDM Tuning and LASFIT

Hi. Are you still using the Saber LED, H11 LED Bulbs, 50W, Pair? Did you close the dust cap? Did you find a replacement LED for the DRL/High Beams?

Is this veloster turbo 2016? H11b or h11
They are H11b. I had to do a small amount of work to get these to work. At the time (and still), there are no high quality H11b bulbs on sale.

The H11 is fine. They don't make anything for H11B as the only difference is where the connector comes out of (side for H11B, bottom for H11)

I believe they're 6K? They're pure white. Not a tint of yellow or blue.

These were the DDM Saber Pro LED bulbs
low brightness, low quality kit plastic, best for lens is x7 and F03
