- We keep it simple and cheap today with a simple upgrade of changing out your stock halogen bulbs for some higher quality ones that can be found at almost any auto parts store. Word to the wise is to buy them online however as you'll get them for almost half the price!

After trying Hids and LEDS im going with these because all the mods and shit you need for leds or hids to work on this specific car is too much work, unreliable. These will be good and easy :) thanks
Have you seen my video for LED Headlights. It requires a small amount of work but it's worth it in the end. Either way, glad this product helps you :)
Ive heard these are actually whiter even then the zxe's...i went with an hid kit eventually for my VT. I am going to get these now for my 99 Prelude project car based on this video! Thanks bruh!
Damn bro! My last car was a 99 Prelude SH. It was built and turbo'd. I miss that car sooooo much man, you're gonna love it! And I think HID is deff. the way to go for these.

Yeah man the only mods I did was the one with the high air flow filter that you have same setup only thing I didn't paint the extension black when I get a chance I'll snap a photo of the inside of my engine. I'm just going to do like a lite modifications man I'm not going to tune out cuz I don't racing or nothing like that. The other mods I did the daytime running light I went to 55 watt super high German fog lights also I kept a factory head unit in and the amplifier that came with the car but I changed all the speakers inside to jbl's also JBL Tweeter and in the back I have a massive of 12 and single box with the Clarion amp pushing it cuz I need my trunk space cuz I play softball on the weekends and I need that space for my cooler to hold my brewskis.😎😎😎😎👍🍺🍺

Whats the difference between the 2016 turbo and turbo r-spec?
The R-Spec model basically loses a few perks (including the ability to get the Tech Package) in the name of "performance" and weight reduction. So the R-Spec loses push to start, keyless entry, window mirror turn signals, and a few other add ons but it gains "Sportier" Suspension, only comes in a manual transmission with a B&M Short Shifter (this can be purchased extra on turbo models), all the special R-Spec badging, floor mats, and red interior. Otherwise, same car lol

can I do this on my 2012 Veloster?
You should be able to without issue but just make sure you get the right bulb size. I believe 2012 only had the Non Turbo models and I know those headlights are different and use a different sized bulb. You can still find this bulb brand and type in many different sizes.
What year is this veloster?
It is a 2016 Turbo R-Spec Model. Just in case, these bulbs should fit any Turbo model (unless you have KDM lights). The bulbs for a NAV I believe are different.

When this video was made, I did not have an intake yet. It was a pipe with a cone filter. Essentially "deleting" the stock air box.

Oh whoops! My bad! I thought this was my LED Headlight Upgrade video. These are halogens so your LEDs should be a GREAT upgrade. Not sure what lumens these would be but they are brighter than the stock halogens.

It's actually not. I had bought a set of LED headlight bulbs and due to the projector dome, it actually cuts off light output. They are WHITER for sure but their reach is no better than stock. HID is honestly the way to go but I'm trying to stick to cheaper mods for the time being for those on a budget. I'll be adding HIDs soon and than LED for the fogs.
obviously, you didn't watch to the end of his video where Chay explained why LED would not be a good option for Veloster Turbo with projector domes. LOL :-)

I did mention that this is for reliability and price. You can buy an HID kit around the same price, but reliable HID/LED kits start at around $50 and to have a proper HID unit, you need to have a CAN BUS module for these cars and those kits run around $80... same with a high quality LED Headlight kit with proper ballasts. This upgrade was meant for those who have limited funds and they are actually quite a nice upgrade above the standard halogen for the price and ease as opposed to a PROPER HID/LED kit. I will later do an LED conversion probably so i'll show that at a later point.
Reflectors inside headlights are different that is why the Bulb mounts two ways ....
