It keeps burning out because your touching the bulb with your hands and that wrecks the protective film on the light making it not last as long, use a rubber glove to move the light bulb around

Haha you definitely lucked out on the bezel not breaking, usually mine break if I so much as sneeze on it.

That only applies with Halogen headlight bulbs really, that usually isn't a problem on regular incandescent bulbs.
Agreed, that's Halogen because of the high heat and thing glass.
