I'm gonna be upgrading my headlights on my 05' GT with some cougar motor LED's 9006 and 9005s torchbeams for the high beams along with brand new assemblies because my current ones although they're clear they get moisture in them after it rains. So those will be going away. Gonna order all of those together and install them. I'm also gonna do LED fog lamps. My DRLs run off the orange turn signals and are always on in the daytime. I cannot disable them.

I went ahead and just dug into eBay and found a couple sellers that had new in the box daytime running lamp replacements for the factory drl lamp housing replacements. Those switchbacks for the drl bulbs should still work though? Have you been happy with them and have you been happy with the tail lamps and the low and high beam bulbs you went with for the upgrades?
@@SalemDoyle ordered the exact ones you used and yes the back is too big the headlight won’t fit back in the car I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I can physically see the bulb is hitting that plastic backing part behind the headlights that connects to the bumper. It’s an 05 Grand Prix gt idk what I’m doing wrong it’s frustrating

Any reports from other drivers of blinding glare from your LED lights? .. Many outlets say not to use LEDs in headlight capsules designed for halogen bulbs. because the optics will throw more gl;are towards oncoming drivers.

Tried upgrading my 01 fogs too led bulbs but won’t go in far enough to turn an lock into place. The heat dispensing fins on the back of the bulb bottoms out in the housing

I added the same DRL/turn signal bulbs to my GP. The DRL are still amber. The turn signal is amber. When the head lights are on the bulbs are white. I was hoping the DRL would be white as well. Is this the same as yours?

What if you have a 2007 Grand Prix Base and want to replace the DRL housings that do not have fog lamps with new ones that have drl and fogs

I bought a 9006 bulb and it doesn’t fit the car it smashes up against the plastic wall. Don’t know what to do

@@RushNation mine were tight but they barely fit. You may have to cut that backing a little. Also make sure they are seated all the way.

I know if they are properly seated as well as if I cut that backing does it effect anything?
Just make sure it looks like they are clipped in all the way. You can cut the panel behind the light, it wont hurt anything.

I just looked at the fuse for the brights and it is 4-pronged and looks fine but ya can't see the insides of it..
Now I only have low beams

The adjustment is on top of the housing. May make a video on that

I did an LED swap on my 07, and the DRL doesn't function like the stock bulbs did. The headlights just stay on all if the time. Is there a trick?
