@@weldinpadilla the difference is a guaranteed contract means you get what in your contact guaranteed and a non-guaranteed means you may or may not get what's in the contract. The gm has control over your non guaranteed years (or contract) and you can be waive or trade whenever the gm wants.

I've just finished watching your prediction to Dallas, after 10 minutes Dallas gets Christian Woods. A smaller version of KP6. A considerable trade but I think they got an injury-prone center again.
He only has one-year left on his deal and they essentially only gave a late 1st rounder. I think the move is solid. He makes the Mavs WAYYY better in the short term than a kid that gets drafted at 26 overall. Those other guys never even got playing time.

I would live to see Mitchell Robinson in Dallas. He’s one of my favorite player’s and with an elite point guard like Luka, he could easily break out. His insane speed and mobility at his position would allow for him to fit in with the Mavs relatively perimeter centric offense. And we already know that with the right teammates he can be one of, if not the best, rim protectors in the league.

The only team that could potentially outbid Dallas for Gobert is Atlanta. They can send Collins, Capela and some draft assets on their end. That, or the Dallas are both pretty respectable deals for Utah to take imo.

Honestly if I'm the Mavs, I sign Brunson and kinda role with the squad they got. I understand that he probably isn't the best player for Luka, but what I'd do is offer him the max unless you can somehow get Beal or Lavine than do it by any means necessary. A sign and trade of Brunson, Timmy, Josh Green, and as many picks as it takes for either Beal or Levine. Idk why the Bulls would ever do that unless Levine says he only wants the Mavs, but I could easily see the Wizards do this to add depth and youth to their lineup

First Gobert trade I've actually thought was good for both teams. That's a lot of picks to give up for a center that may be a dinosaur in the modern NBA however.

I'm very sceptical about trade videos, but I actually *like* this video very much. Khris should stay in MIL bc of khemistry with Giannis (BLo should be gone, maybe to DAL). Brunson should not be overpaid, he had great playoffs, but he might be overachieving for his size. If Gobert could learn not to get into the Luka's way he could be valuable for DAL. Declining Harden should not get more than 2 yeras guaranteed. I'm reluctant to give him max, but I think Morey bet on him already.

As a Knick fan, I'd love to see that too, and replace Mitch with Mo Bamba in FA, but I don't think that's likely. I'll be pleasantly surprised. The Jazz trade makes more sense, especially given Cuban doesn't want anything to do with the Knicks after the Kristaps debacle and Gobert is a better all around defender, even though Mitch is better on the perimeter than Rudy.

If there’s one thing is that Mark Cuban and the Mavericks have always loved Knicks players. Porzingis, Hardaway Jr, Trey Burke, Reggie Bullock and Frank Ntilikina.

Why does players want to make a bit more money when they can win championship if they take few milions less. It isnt like you would go broke because of those few milions. For example lebron could go win another chip in idk mavricks because he makes so much money from shoes, tshirts, space jam and stuf. If someone could explain that I would love that

Not every player has the same priorities as fans. Some players only play for money. It’s a job after all. You should try to get paid as much as you can.

They do that because winning it all is never guaranteed, but the $$ in the contract is no matter if they win or lose. Plus salary cap and competition hampers teams from signing all the best players even if they all took less $$$ my last point is what fan wants to see that? If you know who's going to win, why play. Middleton should play shooting guard again to make it harder for other teams sg to guard guard him.
The only issue is that he’s probably getting slower with age/injury, so it’ll be harder for him to guard smaller, quicker guys…but he’s versatile enough to switch it up depending on matchups.
I want to see if James Harden is willing to prove his worth and if he believes he is still worth Super Star money or if he has lost his passion for the game and is comfortable taking less money for a longer deal but also removing the demand by the owners,front office,coaching staff,and even teammates from demanding James give 110% every minute of every game. This would let him play his way without SuperStar expectations if he did this because let's be honest I can't tell if Harden even likes the game or enjoys playing the game anymore.if he demands the max contract or a non team friendly contract I would say I'm sorry James that's not going to happen so play out your year and earn it or wish him the best of luck on finding a team willing to pay top dollar for a playoff pariah!

I highly doubt the Mavs bring Noel back after his last stint in Dallas. I’m sure he’s changed his attitude and grown as a player a lot, but Mark Cuban typically isn’t a forgive and forget type of guy.

Mavs just traded for Christian wood which I think is a HUGE pick up considering they gave up a bunch of players that wasn't in there rotation. resigning Brunson and running this back with a healthy Tim. I personally love the prospect of doing a S+T for Brunson with Robinson and some of our SG/SF depth like Alec Burks, I still don't see that happening. The Knicks brought on Brunson's dad with the secondary purpose of luring his son, but Rick Brunson was on Thibodeau's staff prior to this and they had open assistant spots with Payne and Woodson leaving.
