Thanks you for your Pro-level welding table and dust collector. I use an obsolete cooking pot as water tank, with dish-washing soap. 75% of dust has gone away, 25% is just for fun.
Hi I've need some advice could you maybe help me with that? I need to use an angle grinder inside to cut metal. How do I prevent from something not catching fire? The surrounding area is all made from wood
The sparks emitted can cause serious injury to eyes and skin and could cause burns and is a FIRE HAZARD. You should always wear a face shield, goggles, or saftey glasses like him & keep flammable material away, And the fumes emitted can cause injury to the lungs or even death, use the grinder in a well-ventilated area or even use a respirator like him.
An alternative method to the spark chute/container would be something like a chop saw, but with a blade that looks more like one used for cutting wood. Evolution makes an amazing version of exactly what I am describing! However, combine the chute and the Evolution chop saw and you’ll have one serious tool! If you’re interested, here’s a comparison of the Evolution chop saw and a standard Abrasive chop saw: th-cam.com/video/Kog4J6KL-tM/w-d-xo.html
The description says how to eliminate but you are not eliminating anything vs just catching the metal. And using water is only going to create rust. Probably the worst idea that I have seen for metal cutting

I hang a non-flammable welding tarp to catch the sparks - Harbor Freight carries them. Good Luck
what's the temperature inside the box?
Normal temperature - it does not get hot.
I got the Evo380. ….Metal chips go everywhere...I will use your idea...Thank you!!
That's a great saw congrats - I have one as well - makes a big difference for sure
@@RickRabjohn It's a good saw but the clamp thread is not top quality.
@@izbiz671 - I don't like the clamp wheel either but beyond that it's nice alternative to the abrasive saw..

*REMEMBER-GRINDING FUMES ARE INVISIBLE BUT YOU CAN SMELL IT (smell is burnt metal or rubber)*
Thanks Rebecca, ggreat points to follow
Also the material what your grinding can get *VERY HOT!* so NEVER touch the material until it’s cool.
Nice. What's the baffle for?
it helps catch and knock down all the sparks and debree At least that was the thought. Seemed to help..

What you are eliminating is the dust all over your shop. And the water is there to prevent a metal fire. Probably the worst comment I've seen here.
@@rockets4kids hey if you want rust all over your new steel go for it. One bad idea can only lead to other bad ideas.
@@roysoliz3610 Where TF do you get the idea that the water is going to get on your work?
@@rockets4kids because you fkn have it on your work area.
