Idk why u gotta attribute it to the glory of Hindu culture and religion. This is an American college with students of many nationalities and religious backgrounds in the choir and in the band. Also, the original song was made by a Muslim. Many Hindus like it because it has been adapted in a Bollywood film. You're right that there is tolerance in India within certain Hindu cultures, but there is a rise and has been a rise in anti-Muslim nationalistic ideologies within Hindus in India as well. I don't think you can make such a general statement as it is merely misinformation and spits in the face of the victims of radical Hindu individuals. I understand this might not be your culture or your version of Hinduism, but it is for others, so I just wanted to put this out there.
