I have heard, sang, listened Vande Mataram (I praise to Motherland,Mother which translates to Tamil as தாய் மண்ணே வணக்கம்) but it's the first I got goosebumps when A. R. Raman composed a music and made an album, I'm a proud Tamizhan

The first one is the original version of vande mataram which is in sanskrit. The second one is another version written and sung in hindi by A R Rehman and third one is in tamil i guess....many singers have sung vande mataram in their own way u should also react to vande mataram by lata mangeshkar ji

It's not Kathak dance. It's bharathanatiyam. It's south indian tamilnadu classical dance. You can notice in between they would have sung in Tamil for a meledy. AR Rahman music is different from Bollywood because it's not northern hindustani based Bollywood music. It's southern clasical music base. So you will feel very different. Little bit more vibrance in emotions comparing to Bollywood music. Just facts. Love you guys.
No it's a mixture of hindustani music(north) and carnatic music(south).
That's what i love about ARR. He is master in every type of music and when hi produce any Bollywood song ,he try to mix the flavour of southern music and this makes his songs unique and best.
I'm from north and i like hindustani music and feel calmer and don't connect so much with southern music. So it's upto people to people and they love and more connect with their own music.
And here comes genius ARR sir who mix both music and make people fall in love with other music type. That's why i love tamil part in this song. ❤
P.S:- bollywood music isn't real hindustani music. They mix western music too to appeal more people.

I watched the whole Berklee concert dedicated to Rahman Sir, it was a performance beyond perfection to say the least👏. But this last video brought tears to my eyes and a shivering down my spine, specially the first part where the original Vande Mataram in Sanskrit from Bakim Chandra Chattopadhay's Anadamath has been sung!!!! 🥺💖The sentiment penned in the lyrics is not patriotism but almost a divine love for motherland...
