@@Jonas889665This is Texas though, they've got so much land the last thing on their mind is ground compaction. I'm from the Netherlands and ground compaction is exit point #1 when approaching whatever harvest it is you're thinking about over here. Not so much when you've got all the acres in the world to work with.
Martin Skevla ground compaction is definitely on our minds, in an ideal world we’d run wider tires, but we plant on narrow row spacing so we need to have narrower tires. We are located in Minnesota.

We're the size of Delaware as a country in the Netherlands and compaction is the only thing on our mind since with so little land it is a direct factor for gaining yield.
Just out of curiosity how many rows of hay are getting thrown into one huge windrow. I have a custom farm operation by where I live that has 2 new holland choppers and they throw 7 rows together into 1

Most of the time its water, so the hay doesn't get gummed up in the spout. Alittle water helps it travel more smoothly and adds a bit of moisture
Some guys put an inoculate on as they are chopping
Where does the water get sprayed on the feed? At the head, or through the innoculant injection system?
B Munk we have pipe fittings welded onto a shield above the feedrolls, in the past we’ve had them on the back cover of the knife drum too

andrew peterson we throw 7 into 1 also, we have 30’ mowers, so it ends up being about 70’
Where was this at what state?
8R with such small Tires? What about soil pressure? (Don't know if thats the right translation)
Fabian Weingart all of our row farming is done on 22” rows, so we need to have skinny tires for that.

What's the tank on the back of the combine for?
Water, they can spray alittle on the feed it gets too dry, prevents hest build up and keeps the choppers from clogging
