Is it just me, or does anyone find watching this video of tractors mowing the hay field and the music that's played for this video to be very very soothing ?!?!?!
I'm always impressed with our east coast farms...until I see farms like this! Amazing. Great cinematography by the way; I'm a city boy who was just born in the wrong place and I love to live vicariously through stuff like this, thanks for making it possible!
Finally something I understand, trucking up a loading unit. It's the same thing in the mines. You want one truck loading and no more than one truck waiting. Any more trucks lined up are a waste of money, and it's a real waste to have the chopper waiting for a truck. Your operation seems to have this down very well.
B Laquisha yes, we do our best to keep everybody moving, and keep the flow of trucks as steady as possible, it keeps everybody busy, and the guys in the dozer tractors don't get a sudden slug of trucks, then have a pause with no trucks for 20 minutes.
Are each of those triples 30 footers?? And if so, you must be miles ahead of the choppers! You could probably do about 200 acres/hour with 120ft of mowers!
Brother Aaron Zenner . if u know from where you got this video .i would like to know the company name which makes this alfalfa hay bcoz i am verified purchaser located in UAE. i would like to know the company name to purchase 50 metric tons of alfalfa hay.. please help me to get the company name .its urgent ..
ImaWreckingBa11 The tanks are for water. When the hay gets below 55% moisture, it gums up in the spout and can cause it to plug, so in those cases we spray a little bit of water on the hay to help lubricate it and flow through better
Aaron Zenner I appreciate the response! Your guy's operation looks like a lot of fun. I have always dreamed of one day being part of a large operation like that. Thanks for the video as well!
+John Deere 6830 fan It's not grass though, its alfalfa! It doesn't grow as tall as grass, but it is just as thick if not thicker. Plus it also has more nutrients than grass!
+Countryguy more expensive to grow it too though, here in Ireland twenty foot rows would be as heavy as that row the harvester is taking at 03:19! up to nearly 16 tonne per acre OF a good year.
+John Deere 6830 fan I get that its high yielding grass, however, the point of alfalfa is the quality. Alfalfa will always be a better feed for dairy cattle because of its much higher nutritional levels. Therefore, a farmer can get the same amount of nutrition out of a smaller amount of hay, which allows easier storage and feeding. Plus this probably 2nd cut, which is gonna yield less anyway.
thats amazing we have a farm but we look like backyard farmers compared to all that lol thats some nice equipment them mowers are amazing compared to a sickle bar lol
always amazes me to see the partially dried hay be racked up so freaking fast. The cloud of dust/leaves can't be a good thing. Speed and alfalfa never mix well in my experience.
+Andy Hass Yeah, its pretty crazy, having four mergers in one field, they can really zip across a quarter section in a big hurry! Our may mowers have the tine conditioners on them versus the rubber rollers, and I think they beat the hay up too much.
You guys should try a pottinger novacat s12. It's bigger(35ft.) than the ones you have now and has no conditioner on it. We custom chop about 10,000 acres and it works great for chopping!
Oh cool i just got the DJI Phantom 2, and i use a gopro to film with, and saw your footage, and saw how smooth it was and was wondering which one you had. thanks- great video by the way.
Aaron Zenner Good footage for your first video. I've watched a lot of these types, mainly from TractorSpotter. You might watch a few of their vids just to get an idea of how to move around to get some great angles of the equipment that you are shooting. Keep it up!
Is it just me, or does anyone find watching this video of tractors mowing the hay field and the music that's played for this video to be very very soothing ?!?!?!
it was very entertaining just like cucumbers being harvested
no it is not sothing music belongs to a warrior film
Yep.

Great Video Aaron, Fantastic Video, beautiful Music, thanks for sharing
Great video Aaron! Hope the season has been going well for you guys. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks for the return ,,,, Good looking hay ,,,, Love the Video
WOW. That's a massive operation you got going there.
Great video.
Awesome footage! What is the brand of your hay con-verger? And how many cows do East Dublin Dairy milk?
SaskDairy dairystar.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=8802
Looks like they milk around 6000 cows, Thats a lot....
Looks like a Oxbo hay merger.
+traktorpj 6000 wtf?! That's just unbeliveble...
+Highlyfe There is a farm by me and they have 15,000 cows and I think they are milking 9,000. There are a lot of large dairy farms in Michigan
wow! here in norway, like the most you can see is like 1000 :P

Just stunning work there.
thats one vast area you have to work with.
Are those claas mowers? Your videos are awesome! I enjoy watching them!
Matthew Buning Thank you. Yes, they are Claas mowers
Excellent video! Do those fields ever end?
Beautiful video....compliments!!! ;)
THE FIRST AMERICANS THAT ACTUALLY USE A FUCKING FRONT PTO with the Butterfly movers...
that's efficiency
Efficiency... Only in alfalfa
I love the videos!!!! Keep making more!
How many acres do you guys cover just in one day. Love these videos!
Are each of those triples 30 footers?? And if so, you must be miles ahead of the choppers! You could probably do about 200 acres/hour with 120ft of mowers!
Amazing video! Well done!
Whats that little Trailer behind the Chopper used for?
What is the name of the second song? Very good Video.

I apologize if this is a stupid question but what is in the tank that the Claas Jaguar is pulling? I have never seen that before.

ImaWreckingBa11 I was wondering the same thing! Thanks Aaron!
Aaron Zenner I appreciate the response! Your guy's operation looks like a lot of fun. I have always dreamed of one day being part of a large operation like that. Thanks for the video as well!
Aaron Zenner Oh right we don't get that problem in the Uk the hay is normally wet, I took it as it was a fuel tanker
+sin4422 same lol
The scale of this is insane
this is awesome. where I work if we put in 12 hours with no break downs we 25 tonnes but usually like 10
petit tracteur
I grew up on a small dairy farm. We topped out at about 125 3x a day. this is insane. Now I understand why my father went out of business.
this might be a costume crew
awesome and nice music thumb up
Amazing. I dream of doing that
Which country is that filmed? Very good shots with drone
Chris Gill Minnesota United States
some pit a silage at the end ! I'd love to see you try take 70 foot of grass at that speed in Ireland! your grass doesn't grow much does it?
+John Deere 6830 fan It's not grass though, its alfalfa! It doesn't grow as tall as grass, but it is just as thick if not thicker. Plus it also has more nutrients than grass!
+Countryguy Also each mower is most likely 30 ft, which would mean its more like 120 ft!

not sure on the quality difference. European grass is pretty cool shit
Awesome video.
thats amazing we have a farm but we look like backyard farmers compared to all that lol thats some nice equipment them mowers are amazing compared to a sickle bar lol
+Colton Cox I grew up cutting hay at 4 mph on an open tractor so I can definitely appreciate this machinery!
great video!
I would love to work on a big dairy farm like that
always amazes me to see the partially dried hay be racked up so freaking fast. The cloud of dust/leaves can't be a good thing. Speed and alfalfa never mix well in my experience.

Nice video!
Where was this taking place at
Does Newholland make those to?
are the trailer on the class a fuel tank?
The money that goes into that equipment..
Nice Video !!
what is that yellow trailer connected to the speedrower at 3:18?
+Dalton Dodson It's an acid trailer they'll use it if the spray onto the alfalfa if it is to wet
+Dalton Dodson It is a water trailer, we spray water on the hay when it's too dry, or else it gums up and eventually plugs the spout
y'all should get the oxbo self propelled merger
At 2:30 wow that's so cool we only use a rake
Where do you get your background music?
Audiomachine Above and beyond
Magnífico! Poderia mostras a abertura do silo e o fornecimento dos animais?
What's in the tank behind the tractor
it is a chemical to preserve the chopped hay.
Is it mixed in with the hay in the harvester?
Zache Wright i believe it is sprayed on it as it comes out of the chute
That is not even close to accurate. For starters this isn't even grass.
Also not true despite the title.
Is this Alfalfa?
+oilhammer04 yes it is
oilhammer04 mhm
yes is alfafa
what is the second song name
Nice video
I want work here, but I don't know how to use the tractors, I WILL BE HELPER

How many head do you milk ?
+barnfly69 we are only the custom harvesters, so its not our dairies, but all told, the three sites we chop for milk 20,000 head
That mower wouldn’t work here in Midwest Wisconsin
Some pit lads thumbs up
How many acres
I wonder how much families this farm provides milk for.....

What drone do you use?
Dylan VanStraalen I just a DJI Phantom 3, this is the first video I've made with it.
Oh cool i just got the DJI Phantom 2, and i use a gopro to film with, and saw your footage, and saw how smooth it was and was wondering which one you had. thanks- great video by the way.

How many acres did you cut of alfalfa at East Dublin?
Mitchell Torgerson I believe it was in the 1500 acre range
The money that goes into that equipment..
