ive been wanting to see the movie since i was a teenager. it's perfect for this generation. it's something new and refreshing. i think it would help dreamworks redeem themselves.

The "ghosts incorporated" movie sounded the most interesting to me, could have been really cute! Also the tinkerbell movies are the best pieces of artwork and cinema and human innovation ever displayed so... I understand how intimidating they must be to directors making new animated movies
What I find crazy about B.O.O. was that kids books and merchandise were released!
The movie was likely this close to being completed in that case
Yeah, it really sounds like they were just putting the finishing touches on the movie, and then the entire studio closed and everyone working on the movie got fired. So, since it was never fully finished, the movie was just forgotten about
I remembered hearing about it awhile ago and that there was casting I always wondered what happened I just assumed it was a long development didn’t realize it got axed
Davis Cleveland was supposed to play one of the characters
I remember reading about B.O.O on a magazine when i was a kid. I thought it's just a dream or smth
For the B.O.O. movie, it kinda sounds like the movie was mostly finished but then the studio closed and everyone that worked on the movie got fired, so the movie just got completely left behind
I’m honestly upset that Me and My Shadow had Owl City make a WHOLE SOUNDTRACK and then it didn’t release 😭😭😭 That would have been a BANGER! And the fact that there’s completed songs just sitting there, forever, never to see the light of day.
I love Me and My Shadow and I'm always going to be sad that it was never realsed because the art looked amazing!
When I heard about Gigantic I was so heartbroken. I wish more than anything that that movie could be made.

Gigantic I think took inspiration from a Classics for Young Readers tale about a young boy who was emotionally needy with his cats (Who in turn hated the affection) after so many days of this, he is one day on the street when a young giantess girl comes out of nowhere, sweeps him up and takes him in as a pet/doll, only to start treating him similar to how he treated his cats
Man, Me and my Shadow looked like so much fun! It really is too bad that they never made it

I really want Me and My Shadow to be a movie, it looks amazing and it has hand drawn, I repeat, HAND drawn animation!

I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Nimona. A lot of people were sad when the artists working on it couldn’t finish it due to Disney shutting down Blue Sky.
A tweet from the author of the book revealed that the project was picked up by Netflix. I'm not sure if they'll be picking up where they left off or starting from scratch, but it looks like there's still hope for the movie!

I remember seeing the leaked animation for Me and My Shadow, and I thought it looked pretty cool. Very unfortunate that it got scrapped.
Larrikan's as well they were done with 75% of the movie before it was cancelled! they released a short with the bilby with those designs though but like the clips of the movie we did get seemed really good like a song Enemy Aliens or something like that parodying Australias border policy
I wanted Gigantic and Me and My Shadow to be made. Also Newt, but after hearing about the plot, it was too on thw nose with my favorite Dreamworks movie Rio.😅 Have you heard about Mort? Idk if it's releasing or not but it sound cool.😁
Rio is Blue Sky Studios, not Dreamworks. If it was Dreamworks, it wouldn't be on Disney+.

The evil shadow's design in Me & My Shadow looks like a common motif from neighbourhood watch signs and apartment building doors would have a sign saying not to let strangers in. It was supposed to represent a suspicious stranger 😂
I feel like Gigantic probably would’ve focused more on the giant girl instead of Jack, but obviously Jack still would’ve been one of the two main characters.
i genuinely believe i said "i don't think jack's the main character in this" but the more i watch it back the more i realise that maybe i didn't say that ahahaha

The animated project I wanted was the VeggieTales theatrical sequel The Bob and Larry Movie. Phil Vischer revealed he had a script and it had humans in it, but it died when the company went bankrupt and was sold. And now that Phil and Mike have been let ho from Big Idea entirely, we’ll never see it. Makes me sad.
Some new footage from Me and My Shadow was recently discovered, so I like to believe there’s still hope for it getting released

The ones that got me after looking into it and finding out about them were Zodiac (Dreamwork’s Zootopia like movie), the Circle 7 project (Pixar Sequels), John Lasseter’s version of Where the Wild Things Are, and apparently a Klonoa anime movie. God dang it Hollywood

hey just some random advice but if this were to go randomly viral, a lot of viewers would be confused about the voice in the background that you are talking to. Maybe have Vergard introduce himself at the beginning of the video :)

If you like the idea of Me and my Shadow, I suggest season one and two of Infinity Train! It has the concept of your shadow (or in Infinity Train’s case, reflection) being the opposite of you and you needing to work together with them.

I remember when Gigantic was something that was going to happen, I think it would have been a great movie, but maybe in another universe it was made.
Or maybe when we enter the afterlife, it will be there. Along with other movies that never got made. The same with TV shows, books, and video games.

Gigantic may have been having story issues the same way Emperors New Groove and Home kn the Range did. Sounds a lot like what happened to Empire of the Sun.
