Definitely under the radar vehicle but already GOAT'ed in the enthusiast community. I drove an LCI G80 and an LCI X3M comp back to back at the dealer and honestly didn't feel much difference in acceleration between the two. Both really quick cars. I got 2 kids and play live music so having the extra space was clutch for me. Also, I got mine fully loaded for $72k. The previous owner took extremely good care of it, ceramic coated, garage kept, mostly highway miles (8k miles when I got it) and put the RK intakes, dinan exhaust and Evolution Racewerkes Mid pipe on there. Tune is still stock while the warranty is there. I've had it right at a year now and I still absolutely love the thing. Marina bay blue metallic with the Tartufo Merino leather interior *chef's kiss Best part about it is that NO ONE has one like it anywhere here in Birmingham. There's 2 other X3M's and one is that bright tennisball yellow. I met the lady who owns that one at the dealer and there is one other guy who has a flat black wrap on his. I took mine to cars & coffee earlier this year and quite a few people there recognized my car from seeing it around town and said it was like the only X3M in bhm that they'd seen so I guess if I'm going to be acting up in this thing, I need to keep in mind that there won't be any confusing me for someone else What kinda surprised me though was that no one at C&C knew really anything about the car. When I explained to them that it's basically just an M3 wagon with a few inches of suspension lift, several commented to the effect of why is no one else buying these things and that everyone here wants that forbidden fruit of the M3 wagon. Well this is as close as you're going to get and a HELL of a lot cheaper.
The F97 really is such a weapon of a vehicle - i sold mine for a G01 and haven't looked back. The F97 just cannot chill, it just wants to get up to 80mph and then its like "ALRIGHT LETS GOOO"

Well done modifications 👏🏼 She’s a beauty. M brakes are the worst with brake dust. After you clean the wheels they look dirty after 2 or 3 days or a 100 miles

Have the same car but mine had every option possible including the comp seats which are much nicer and very very comfortable. Not tuning mine keeping it stock, yes I can handle more power, but it's more stress as well, I'll keep it as the engineers designed it to last and push it hard anyway with zero issues . Nobody passes me on the road, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing
Nyshon and I found the Comp seats not very comfortable so it must depend on body type. The X3M is stock form is still faster than a lot on the road so you should have no issues

Bro.....I was disappointed. It has 731hp and is lighter than our x3m, .......so I could not believe it........Ferrari and all.....the steering was not sharper or quicker......dated tech......felt a Bit faster but not shockingly so..... Ok ok.....the sound of the v12 going to the red line and revving it with that {Whaaap, Whaaap} was awesome. And the f12 I'm sure is better on the track, but all this to say, the x3m is really that good, and I'm so picky with car dynamics this is really a unbiased opinion.
I was interested on the X3 M comp, however I've find out that getting the carbon ceramic retrofit from the M5 costs a cool 20k usd. And also it's hard to find an used one without driving assistant package and executive package, with that heavy sunroof adding about 60 lbs of weight. I think the stelvio quadrifoglio would be a better fit for my light weight suv project.

@@ball1ng123 still 2 different animals. A big performance gap. The Macan turbo is probably the better SUV stock vs stock. More luxury and better handling feel but I like BMW tech and power potential more. Think it’s a little easier to get power out of the S58.
Yeah the Macan turbo is the better comparison. Even then the BMW makes more power. The Macan turbo will be a little more refined and have a better ride

You must be new to cars? Are you familiar with the M3??...yes that M3. This CUV has an interation of that motor. This motor takes very well to slight mods which is very attractive to some people who need the functionality of a CUV but m3 tunability and performance.
It does have sense, since a stock X3M comp is quite fast on 1/4 mile and also have very good lateral accelaration and handling. In a suv like this I'd rather loose 200 lbs of weight that adding 100 hp, but to each their own, I guess.
Same thing happened to me... got an X3M as a daily for my F83 M4... then it became faster than the M4 real quick.

I 100% agree... the US lifted M3 wagon. You dont see a lot of them for sure. Tartufo is a great color and you have a good spec.

If you get the comp with the 21s, they're lightweight wheels.

So far everything is solid. I haven’t heard about anyone under 750tq having issues on the stock trans or transfer case.
