    To all haters, you don't know how difficult is to reach that level of training, to have the agility, precision and strenght to make that jumps, i am a yellow belt and today is my exam,taekwondo is my inspiration so don't judge for the appearence.

    Pure awesomeness :) Had a guy in my tae kwon do club who did one of these with 2 kicks mixed in, in a sparring contest testing for 1.kyu. That dude was terrifying. They drove him so hard he was so tired at the end when he was supposed to break the brick with a strike, so he jumped into a split on his way down to get his weight better into the blow :)
    Cool vid. (And good music ;) )

    every1 please remember. this takes extreme practice. this isnt a standard kick in taekwondo. ive been training for 14 yrs and without practice nothing will happen. im still in the process oif mastering this kick and its been 7 months already. practice makes perfect which is apparent in this video

    I partially agree. However, the biggest flaw I see in MMA is that:
    1. Bring an enemy to the ground with multiple accomplices isn't wise
    2. There's no jumping (at all!). Which I belive is an essential part in MA/they're not light on there feet -might dance in the first round, then lack of cardio gives them concrete shoes
    3. Heavy relience on muscle mass which slows them down and disfigures technique

    And this is what i said. The first two kicks have to be feints.

    fyi, the point of hitting hard objects isn't to build calices...its based on the same scientific principles behind exercising your muscles...the reason you 'become stronger' by working out is because you tear your muscles during the session...when the tears are repaired, your body over compensates to be able to better handle the next session...similarly with bone, hitting a hard object would cause microfractures which the body will attempt to re-calcify thus making the bone stronger over time...

    I have a couple of questions for all the Happy Clappys out there.
    1. If God is everywhere why does he need houses?
    2. Where was the Pope and the rest of the church during WW2
    (On Holiday maybe?)
    Please everybody leave religious discussion on Forums.
    Now back to what these comments should be about : Tae Kwon Do
    The kick was very impressive, of what ive seen from the Doboks and the South Korean Flag. I can deduce that they are in the ITF.

    Regarding fighters that practice high kicks, you'd be surprised how fast their low kicks are. Power comes from technique; if the technique is good it will be there. All striking arts give you very similar fundamentals; it is the individual fighter that puts those fundamental to good use or poor.

  • @namaan123
    @namaan123 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    appreciated :)
    well, that being said, u do have a point...relying on microfractures only helps if done as part of a routine...the key is consistency...
    smashing your hand against a cement block at random times throughout the week is very unlikely to do anything but break your hand...it has to be done in moderation and...like i said...as part of a routine

    Impressive kicking technique, but in actual combat, a simple front punch or kick would end the momentum of the 540 kick. Like Bruce Lee said, simple & effective techniques will bring better results than flashy moves. But you got to admit, Tae Kwon Do's 540 kick is nice to watch.

  • @dokkiro
    @dokkiro 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @chooechooe the word TaeKwonDo was made only 50 years ago. Too many believe that Korean martial art was from India. I happen to believe there was a much older type simular to muay thai from northern Korea. Older than TaeKyun

  • @eolsunder
    @eolsunder 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    first most of those kicks weren't 540, only the last couple. The first bunch were only 360, he spun before jumping, when he actually jumped and spin kicked, it was 360. The last couple he actually progressed further and didn't spin before jumping, he spun after jumping and did the 540. Just watch it paused/slow. In the first 3/4 of the video you can't count the initial spin because he didn't jump yet.

    you have to be god damned fast to use it because most stunned enemies are lying on the ground. being undefeated doesn't mean that you are arrogant. it means that your hard work didn't go wasted. you have to train to be the best so that you could reach new levels in techniques. every time you use a technique over and over you will improve yourself and become faster.

    And that is what i am talking about. You can't continue spinning after the first kick hit. It's just physically impossible. You can feint the first two kicks and then hit the head, but you can't hit three times, let alone two times.

  • @tkdguitarhero
    @tkdguitarhero 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    cuz if u miss it's hard to recover from the kick
    it's not that it can't be used, just that it has big risks on using it

  • @ercjlee101
    @ercjlee101 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    lol i finally got it down!!!
    but i think the hardest part is actually kicking... most ppl tend to just stick their leg out expecting it will be powerful,
    not the case
    its actually rly rly hard to gain power from spinning, the way u get power is from ur kick. I'd say this is just as powerful as any other back hook or 360 jumpin back hook.
    I couldnt even break a thin board with this kick...
    or maybe i just suck idk

  • @latinchaos1

    I'm not exactly the most religious guy, but thats a touchy subject, dude. Being an atheist doesnt mean that you should tell people that you think you're right and they're wrong. The whole idea of belief is that you, as an individual, hold your own ideas on life. My point is that people who show their beliefs shouldn't get bashed for it. Its not fair, thats all I'm sayin.
