that's nice :) but I'm a little bit towards being skinny but the reason I want to learn is to defend myself, do you think it can help defending yourself in a surprise attack?
You can definitely learn to defend yourself, it is martial arts so you will learn lots of different things..! Discipline and respect are two of the biggest ones..! Have you checked out some schools in your district ..? And are you interested in ITF or WTF..?
yes I have checked out a school very close to me actually and talked to the head coach and it seems great, I'm gonna go for it. what are ITF and WTF? I’m currently 11 and I practiced aikido for about a month but then my sports where more demanding, my dojo was still open so when ever you could come in you can, but I never did. I still remember some of the practices because it’s only been about a year. I also want to do kendo and Taekwondo to, but I don’t know if I can balance all the sports with the others. I also worry that I’m to “old” to start practicing again. I went down a rabbit hole well right now and I realized how much I want to learn and practice these amazing arts that my previous ancestors have created. I’ve always dreamed of doing amazing things not just for the power, I actually don’t care about that at all, but I want to learn the discipline, spiritual well-being, tradition in culture, but also to help with my sports. I don’t know if I should do it considering the being of the world right now. #alllivesmatter ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

Just started learning Taekwondo last week and you just can't help to fall in love with Taekwondo. It's a beautiful and fun sport ! 😍❤ Learning taekwando is one of the best decision I make, I'm aiming for the black belt! 😂😂
I really want to learn and become good at martial arts. I remember when all I did with my life was spending most of it looking at the same youtube videos.
Man, when I was little like 6 or 7 I was in Taekwondo. Loved it with all my heart and kept improving despite the bullying from other girls there. Heh, one of them happened to be the one that lost a sparring match to me while I was a white belt. 14 years old now and wanna go back so bad...
all of you should get back at it, no1 is gonna say anything negative about it, i started martial arts when i was 7,i quit when i was 14 because i was a stupid kid but i actually returned to my teacher almost 2 years later and asked if i could come back and he welcomed me with opened arms like nothing happen... im 26 now and im training harder then ever. Now what im saying is that the reasons you hesitate to get back are just in your head... go check for the training sessions what hours, what place and just pay a visit, you wont regret it, i promice
Same I started when I was 6 or 7 and I learnt a lot, then I left it. I’m 13 and I really wanna do more, go back. I mean you only live once right. But my mum keeps telling me I don’t need it 😣. How should I persuade her 😤
You should totally go back, it’s never to late. I remember i started taekwondo than quit 2 times and than I finally decided to stay committed. Now i am a black belt. And proud to be one:)
I just turned fifteen and I’ve wanted to do taekwando for a while but I felt like it was to late since most people start when they are very young but I decided that it was better late than never so I’ll start after summer break is over. I also started practicing nunchucks which is really fun. Just wanted to say that if you want to do taekwando of any other kind of martial art do it and don’t hesitate just because you feel like it’s too late. :)
hi, i’m also 15 and just want to say thank you because i really like taekwondo but felt like it was way too late for me. then i just saw your comment and thought “okay i’ll definitely start taekwondo!” thank you!!!

I love those vids, keep them coming! As a karate practitioner, and hopefully a taekwondo practitioner one day, I love those Insane Taekwondo Skills videos. Moar, moar plx! :3
George Willow Congrats, I'm just idling around 5th kyu for months now. Do you rly think your legs could endure such a hard pressure as in Taekwondo?
userwhosinterestedin Yeah, I do. Fortunately, I've played football for 9 years before I started with karate, and I've always been super flexible. Thanks to that, my main strength in karate are kicks, mainly those that you dont use so often (ura-mawashi geri, ushiro ura-mawashi geri, kekomi mid-air etc.), and I'm usually called by my fellow friends as the best 'kicker' in our dojo. Nevertheless, kicks from karate are just not enough for me, and so I wanna start learning Taekwondo next year, solely for the kicks. I also tried learning some Kung Fu kicks, but those take time to practice, although they're fairly easy in execution and very useful in battle.
yup i think so too tae-kwondo also helps you with confidence i used to be the most non-confident girl in my class when i was younger and now im one of the most confident
I have trained taekwondo for more than 25 years. Whenever I tried any other sport teakwondo skills helped me. Gymnastics, tennis(footwork),tabletennis, other martial arts, goalkeeping and dancing. I would say that taekwondo is one of the best sports to start at young age to develop multiskill talent that will translate to other sports. Few weeks ago i started to train tennis and Im 36 y old. I was way better than other people in my group that are all around 20 just because I have light feet and Im able to copy hand movement that coach showed me. Taekwondo will be sport of my choice to train with my daughter as her 1st sport
As a former first Dan black belt this was awesome to see. I stopped taking Tae kwon do probably 5 or so years ago. Started when I was 7 years old stopped when I was 15.
Getting used to that stress in combat is key, a lot of people who practice these kicks have no idea what it's like to actually get into a fight. Chances are you'll weight someone in who's practice this shit because they have no idea how to fight against an aggressive person who really wants to teach them a lesson. If you wanna take anything up let it be boxing.
Hey guys I'm a white/yellow belt in Level Up Martial Arts and I have some experience with rolling, kicks, punches, very hard stretches, and more and this is just...wow! This is beyond.anything I've seen before, wish me luck! When I grow up I'm gonna go to China and learn kung fu from professionals. Hopefully this inspires you! :D
Roblox1an Pl4yZ I don’t know if you’ll still respond, but good luck! What belt are you now? I wouldn’t advise Kung fu though because it is more for meditation for old people.
Thank you guys for an other great video. Your videos is really educative and inspiring. It has actually inspired a lot of my own videos. Great work Keep it up!
I started learning tae kwon do in the early 80's, and can confirm that it emphasizes kicks more than punches (about 70% at least); one of my uncles was a 9th dan black belt (he had his own school). Although the kicks are very different from those of deadly muy thai kickboxing, they can still cause incredible damage if they connect......
Bigtombowski I am now.... long week of training. Made a belt a day. I slice through brick by blinking and I can jump spin kick like a helicopter, saved myself a plane ticket for the holidays.
I'm doing taekwondo now and I kind of want to quit but whenever I watch these videos I feel positive. Ps and I just double graded because i kept my hopes up !!!!!
If you train for such situations then of course they would have a great chance of winning but showing off and fighting are two different things it is like taking a spoon into a gun battle

that video made me decide to learn taekwondo and I'm 25 years old now :)
and I didn't do any type of martial arts before.
I've been doing TaeKwon Do since I am 12... Stopped at 17 after earning my black belt... I came back to it a little over a year ago and it is the best decision I have made..! I have lost 100lbs since last september thanks to my coach! I am also 25...
that's nice :) but I'm a little bit towards being skinny but the reason I want to learn is to defend myself, do you think it can help defending yourself in a surprise attack?
You can definitely learn to defend yourself, it is martial arts so you will learn lots of different things..! Discipline and respect are two of the biggest ones..! Have you checked out some schools in your district ..? And are you interested in ITF or WTF..?
yes I have checked out a school very close to me actually and talked to the head coach and it seems great, I'm gonna go for it.
what are ITF and WTF? I never done any form of martial arts before, nor any kind of sports really, just normal exercise and some beginner yoga, so I don't know what those are.
It's been 5 years, I still love this video.
I can do this. Hold my beer

16 with my 3rd degree black belt, every time I watch these videos it inspires me to keep improving and to keep going 😊
i have been taekwondo for almost 3 years now and it’s awesome! it helps me stay active and get my kicks stronger and higher!👊🏻 it’s my favourite sport! even though in my taekwondo class, we don’t have that many girl ( includes me) , if i didn’t join taekwondo, i wouldn’t have been this active!👍🏻👊🏻
Is it hard?
You're never too old to start doing something you like!
Just do it if you have interest in it :)
its not about the fighting, its the beauty of performing. this is how i see taekwondo and my 7 years of it. its soothing to watch a form so neatly done
@Hannibal L Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with you there. Some of them were genuine and nice but others were way too conceited for some reason.
Man, when I was little like 6 or 7 I was in Taekwondo. Loved it with all my heart and kept improving despite the bullying from other girls there. Heh, one of them happened to be the one that lost a sparring match to me while I was a white belt. 14 years old now and wanna go back so bad...
Same I'm also 14 years old and i was in taekwondo when i was like 9 then i quit at 11 idek why. Now i regret tho :3
Same for my karate. I miss it so fucking much
all of you should get back at it, no1 is gonna say anything negative about it, i started martial arts when i was 7,i quit when i was 14 because i was a stupid kid but i actually returned to my teacher almost 2 years later and asked if i could come back and he welcomed me with opened arms like nothing happen... im 26 now and im training harder then ever.
@@harold_asmr wow this made me really happy I’ve been at it for over a year now and it was the best decision I’ve ever made to start doing martial arts so I’m glad to see that you wanna start :DD
I am also fifteen and although I am a 1st degree black belt,I know plenty of teenagers and even adults who are beginners and are still learning basics and to be honest it can be better to start as a teenager or adult rather than a young kid because you will have a deeper understanding and appreciation of what you are doing and this will help you become an awesome black belt!
I love those vids, keep them coming! As a karate practitioner, and hopefully a taekwondo practitioner one day, I love those Insane Taekwondo Skills videos. Moar, moar plx! :3
Shotokan?
userwhosinterestedin Yeah dude, just successfully completed my exams to 2nd kyu yesterday. :D
George Willow Sounds pretty cool, but who has the time to do two martial arts at once?
I'm watching taekwondo videos after I read "The God of Highschool". It's rad.

I can't wait to work my way up to taekwondo

2:10 Hey, be careful! Someone left their Lego bricks on the carpet!
As a former first Dan black belt this was awesome to see. I stopped taking Tae kwon do probably 5 or so years ago. Started when I was 7 years old stopped when I was 15.
This is really quite useful for you guys
Quit when I was like 8, just realised I spent my entire time punching 15 year olds instead of kicking them lol
