Ron there is just enough variety in your line of work that makes it interesting. You are constantly dealing with certain variables and having to calculate or figure out the best odds for a given situation. Never a Dull Moment!
His wife, I should think. She puts up with him being on call and going out in the dangerous weather. Working long hours then spending more time editing and posting these vids.
Hey Ron, A few years ago, i went to walmart to buy groceries, and I was in the Checkout line and was getting ready to pay for the Items, and there was a man in front of me and out of the kindness of his heart he paid for my groceries. I just kept thanking him over and over again.
I love Ron it is amazing what can left with his Big Girl just love watching him work in blows my mind on some of this stuff that he does with his Truck may God continue to bless Ron and his Employees
That's happened to me on many occasions when ever I go into a business (store, restaurant, bank). When I go in, no soul around, except employees. When I leave, the place is hopping!
There are so many nice prople out there that out of the kindness of their hearts will give you the shirt off of your back, you my friend are most certainly fit that category. Love the videos and everything you guys do to make it safe for everyone out on the roads. God Bless all you guys and all that you all do.
I've been thinking about that special challenge you mentioned a few weeks ago. As I sit at my desk today, I recall something very special from November. I work in a public library and was having a rough day. That evening, a young girl and her dad came in and she handed me a cupcake. She explained that she had some left from her cupcake party and wanted me to have my own cupcake party. It took the entire day and turned it around. It was just a little thing, but it meant so much. Sometimes it's just the little gestures that are the most special. Please stay safe, and God bless.
Good day Ron. Thanks for sharing this video. I see you didn’t bring your shop cat for this job. That was a great video last week. The breadth of your services is quite impressive. Wishing you and your family a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather, safe opportunities and restful evenings. Peace brother
Not the Tator! I know why now you prefer a manual over auto. I got a little sideways the other week. Pushed by the trailer. I've an auto now and it was a little tricky to get out of the skid. It's a new truck, only 190k on it now and still learning. Sold my '02 Mack for scrap but don't think they want too as it's still sitting proud our the front of their yard. I'm in a Scania and I don't like it but stuck with it till at least 350k then I'll look at a Volvo. The Scania is very expensive to maintain. God Bless the Pratt family, take care and keep safe, and for those out there, remember slow down and move over, and give us some room.
I will admit that I tend to enjoy your solo junkets (complete with soliloquies) a bit more than the team efforts, especially when the conversations in the latter are one=sided. I still want a Rotator for Christmas.
I nearly missed the pun. Thanks that is good. I suspected that machine was a metal bending machine called a brake but I was still expecting to see something break on the truck. Thanks Ron, that was punny.
That was an awesome job Ron thank you for sharing your experience in the towing industry it’s always great seeing you guys safely working stay safe everyone at Midwest truck
So I learnt something new today. You guys don't get many Pick & Carry cranes. Here in Australia the most common brand is Franna, They're used all the time when moving equipment into workshops, since the most common one can lift 25t.
Great job as always Ron & Tator! I've been down with "walking pneumonia" for the last 2 weeks but, my cat and TH-cam channel subscriptions have kept me entertained lol! I truly enjoy all Midwest Truck videos for the content you intend to show but, it seems like there's always something in the background of them that catches my attention for a few minutes. This time, it was that old Freightliner FLD tractor that brought the brake to its new home. I've owned several FLD series tractors over the years and currently have a Classic XL thats getting a motorhome conversion. The tractor in this video appears to be a "severe Duty" unit with only 2 headlights. I know that they were built this way but, they've never been a common sight. Most FLDs were highway tractors and had quad headlights. The few that I've seen on the road with the 2 light setup were all Consolidated Freightways tractors. As always, be safe and God bless you, your crew and your equipment!
Love your play on words! I’m not a grammar cop, but it bugs me when someone uses the wrong spelling intending to use the other. Like there, their and they’re. It’s funny when done on purpose though LOL As always you make every job look simple and easy.
From a business standpoint everything can be repaired as new and sometimes better. The only standpoint that see's differently are lawyers. They only see who can we sue and make the most money from. Lawyers don't sue for right or wrong, they only sue for standpoint of cash.
Hi Ron..... as ever .... Great content 👍😎👍..... did you mean "Break" or "Brake"..... it's seemingly a question of Tyre and Tire..... or Colour and Color..... TTFN..... Nick
Have you ever thought about putting a couple backup cameras on the rotator to make it easier to see traffic coming up behind you when you're having to turn around
Oh my.. I would love to have that brake, I used one much like it in college. They also had a big hydraulic shear that I loved, even though it was hard to get my size 15 into the safety cage to operate the pedal, I ended up taping up the safety to be able to get my foot in there. Is it just me or is there starting to be some sounds coming from the trans on Tator? Sounds like some whines and grinds I haven't heard before. It will never cease to amaze me how much weight that one little pin in the shackle can hold.
We moved the shop up in Fresno, boss said for us to get the metal brake ready to move, ha-ha, we called him and told him to get his butt down and help, the thing was heavy!!
I don't know if you made one yet, but maybe you could make a video of the rotator getting a bath sometime. Why don't the front outriggers have a pin you pull out like the back one's do?
Ron, let us know how many miles on the rotator at the start of one of your videos. Please also remind us of what year she is. That rotator sure looks good for all the hard work she does.
GET-R-DONE... RON NO JOB TO SMALL OR TO BIG Mr Ron can Get R Done and can do it . Put on his thinking hat, look it over and decide the best SAFE way. For him and the customer. Great that it had a hook point. Made it faster and center balance point. Pat on the back for a job well done. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👽🙃
Nice to see 2 craftsmen who both plan their work, and work their plan, but coordinate it all with each other.
What a fantastic customer! No goofy stupid stuff. A job, get it done and move on. Great job Ron, thank you.
A nice, easy and safe lift. And, helping a fellow craftsman and neighbor. Be safe, stay safe, and God bless.
I love Ron Pratt I think he’s a cool guy. I think I’m gonna send him a thank you card for his TH-cam channel.

As a flatbed truck driver, it’s nice to see that the owner secured his machinery down well to the trailer.
Hey Ron, A few years ago, i went to walmart to buy groceries, and I was in the Checkout line and was getting ready to pay for the Items, and there was a man in front of me and out of the kindness of his heart he paid for my groceries. I just kept thanking him over and over again.

Hello good morning Ron.. watching from the Philippines, a silent viewer but long time pollower, stay safe always godbless 🤗🎉💐
Ron reminds me of my dad,do it right the first time and be kind as you do it best ever.Stay safe and blessed 🙏❤️
The road appears to have veey light traffic, one vehicle every few minutes or so. Ron goes to back in, and three cars show up.
That's happened to me on many occasions when ever I go into a business (store, restaurant, bank). When I go in, no soul around, except employees. When I leave, the place is hopping!
"Nobody around, but still..." It is best to commit safety practices to habit. Then, you don't have to remember to do them.
One of my two favorite channels, Everthing Autos being the other.
I love to watch you and your family and your workers. I'm glad to watch the way you share your love of our Lord. Prayers for you and your business

Rotators become the handy cranes. Much quicker to set up for many jobs.
Good Afternoon There My Good Big Bro Ron Pratt Sir Of Midwest Towing
I been checking your TH-cam channel for a few years now I don't know how long maybe before COVID I think
I will admit that I tend to enjoy your solo junkets (complete with soliloquies) a bit more than the team efforts, especially when the conversations in the latter are one=sided. I still want a Rotator for Christmas.

The machine is a " press-brake" for bending metal.
Have you ever thought about putting a couple backup cameras on the rotator to make it easier to see traffic coming up behind you when you're having to turn around
Great job! Tator sounds a bit different in this video! Extra noise under belly after PTO engagement.?
Think we all do

All I get is old videos I hoping for last year's videos
Watched
' press brake ' ... once again Ron cracks another mighty dad joke .. lol
I thought you were going to let your son do more of the work. I think you enjoy it to much, and your geat at it.
Hey Ron I have been asking about one of your old tow trucks small one
Sheet metal guillotine. Come in various sizes and either electrical or hydraulically operated.
Or even small ones a foot treadle.
Ron I believe that was a metal shear, but not a very good view of it .
The only reason I believe it's a sheer is the sign saying something about the only employees allowed to operate the sheer.
LOL....thought ya broke the Rotator
