- When Ken's Blazer caught fire, he thought he was watching his most prized possession disappear before his eyes. Luckily he was able to get the fire put out before it caused irreparable damage. He then reached out to my buddy Gavin, who has gone independent with his own repair business, and Gavin decided to take on the challenge. That left the problem of getting it towed in to get the repairs started, so Gavin gave Ken my info and he reached out to get a price on a tow. After taking to Ken on the phone for a bit, I started to realize that this was no ordinary Blazer, and that I wanted to do something more than just offer him a free tow. Once you see the story, I think you'll agree with my decision, and I can't thank every single one of YOU enough for making this possible!

Casey, thank YOU for being our voice and “middle man” perse to get the help to the people that need it. YOU deserve a good amount of credit also, because with out you doing the job, making videos, and having a patreon, WE wouldn’t know about these people let alone be able to help. Case in point, the e-wheelchair things, I never heard of Bruce Cook before your guys’ little “tiff” but he’s a good person just like you, his foundation helped get those chairs to who they needed to go to. The tower lights, the older couple a few months ago on their anniversary trip that you towed to Nates and you took care of the tow and like 50% of the repair, Nate donated his time/labor, and only charged you the cost of the parts needed. You surround yourself with good people and you do good things and damn it, it shows. So thank YOU Casey for doing everything you do, and making it possible for us to even help these different people in the first place.
For those of us that have lost a loved one to cancer, acts of kindness like this are touching and awesome.

I bought a new Chevrolet K10 pickup and it had to be my all time favorite vehicle. After that, I had lots of "square bodies". The best trucks ever made.

Man, this one tugs on the heart strings. My youngest brother passed away nearly a decade ago. He left behind a 97 S10 Blazer that's been a project that I got from his widow. But, I love the K5s. I have an '82 with the Detroit engine in it and a '78 with the 350 and full time 4wd.

All I did was start watching when you got involved in the Eagle Scout project recovering junk cars from a canyon. I was involved in an Eagle Scout project at the time so it resonated.

This is so nice. I come from a very close family of eight (8) children, five boys, and three girls. I have lost two of my brothers, and two of my sisters. All I have to remember them are some old faded photos, and loads of memory's, (both happy and sad memory's).
I think Ken would have kissed Casey if they where not on camera, and I could not blame him. The feeling of disbelief and joy at the same time on Ken's face said it all.

I remember the video where you said you wanted to start doing stuff like this.
There was two stories that I will never forget one was the lady with the crown Victoria that had everything she owned in the car. I was homeless for a short time so that one was emotional for me.
The other one was the Veterans Van that you towed and got it fixed for him. I have a ton of respect for veterans. My uncle was a Vietnam veteran.
You say it wasn't you that people should thank I disagree because u made the choice to use money you make from patreon to help people. We all follow your lead

I’m not crying. Thank you Casey! I can’t afford to be a patreon but I’ve watched since day one. I comment almost every video and I like every video! I be only missed one video when it dropped ( I had had a 10 hour cancer surgery the day before and don’t remember much for a few days) but I went back and watched a few days later

I love projects like this. You can tell how much he loves that truck, and I'm sure he'll keep it forever. If/when he has kids they'll get to have a relationship with their uncle through the stories he has around it too. Such an important thing for him and his family I'm glad he got connected with Casey so this could happen for him.
I consider myself an old man and have seen some horrific things in my lifetime but,when generous people get together for someone who they don't know i shed a tear off joy. Wow Casey im a 63 old man in the UK and this had me in tears , my late dad passed away 10 years ago he left me Triumph motorbike which he had from new it was in my shed all locked up but someone could not get to it so they set fire to the shed absolutely destroyed by all that was left of a melted engine and frame.
