Wow!! Just, absolutely f*#k*n wow!! As someone else said, that's the most amazing blender thing I have seen. Well done to all who made it, such hard work, such patience...
@@cg_cookie I think that you have made a great showcase for blender, the guys at the blender institute/foundation must be quite proud, of what you have done, and of what they have enabled with their software. It's such a professional looking animation, it has a real big-budget, big-corp promo feel about it. Makes me want to buy one. Are you selling diggers now, too?
I know this is a bit old but I think it’s great fantastic. I’ve been trying to improve my industrial designs (I’m a hobbyist) but getting an industrial environment to look real is really tough. Especially the more stainless types of material you have. Really nicely done.
This is so damn cool, this is actually quite easily the COOLEST thing I have ever seen. I am so incredibly inspired as an artist to see what yall have put together here, this is the apex of industrial animation and I am honored to be living in an age where an achievement of this magnitude is possible. Excellent work to everyone involved! Blender is the future and when a community puts their thought into harmonious action and forms a master mind, infinity is the limit.
Looks awesome! Only thing that would make it better, and more useful in a real world setting is having each subassembly put together separately, in a more logical order. Like you're not going to build each individual part of the seat assembly while inside the cab, you'd do it separately, then take it inside the cab.
Awesome animation guys. I've actually watched all the 7 videos of the project development that you have posted. Seeing the dedication to the project and how you all pushed and helped each other was admirable. My only regret is that I didn't check the live streams last year as I would have definitely joined into this project. I was smiling seeing all the individual subassemblies showcased and I was hearing Kent's comments and criticisms (constructive ones) to all the artists. Anyway, because I watched soooo much of the live streams, you are all Blender super stars in my eyes. Also, as a side note: I've been doing some of your tutorials for over a year now and every time I posted a question on various courses , 9 times out of 10 Spikeyxxx would reply with a detailed explanation to my queries. I always thought he was a CG cookie admin, but finding out at these live stream videos that he only does this for the love of Blender and trying to help as many people as possible to be better blender artist is amazing. There are a lot of things to learn from those videos, not just how to model items in blender, but also what the workflow is normally within a professional team and how communication and sharing of ideas is paramount to achieving a great product. I will try my best to join this April to the next challenge, count me in :)
