Hey man, thank you so much. Glad you like it. To be honest I never was to deep in Larping, I did Reanactment and Medieval Sword fighting. Also I used to build all kind of armor. Since 2 years I am into cosplay pretty deep and my friends in the Scene help me out a lot with my costumes
Saltatio Mortis has quickly become my favorite medieval metal Band in the past couple years. Their game covers are so awesome and should get way more attention worldwide. Love to see people reacting to them.
The big barbarian/Viking dude is Tetzel a German metal front man and a competitive strongman as well, so I can imagine Alea trying to hold onto the sword when crossing swords with Tetzel would be legit hard.
I'm not sure about Larp but I do know they and Fuerschwanz are heavily into reenactment. I mean I've literally seen Fuerschwanz 's lead singer not in armor like twice. That includes meet and greets on Napalm. So of course both groups are going to make epic period music they're true medievalists and of course fantasy nerds. Great reaction!!
1:33 No, it's not Whiterun. As far as I know it's a LARP village in Germany. 5:55 Don't know is Alea is a LARPer but I do know he's an avid cos-player.
In fact this video and song was a thing with Bethesda, so on a way or another it was a direct cooperation.. Love your reaction, felt the same. Greets from germany
I believe Elder Scrolls Online funded this as a promotional song. Correct me if I'm wrong. The dark haired elf sorceress looks strikingly like the ESO game cinematic character. (and just as hot :) )
love them and their singer alea's voice he also be a sexy fella and the gianormous fella that killed his character be the lead singer of the band asenblut tetzle and when saltatio mortis has downtime they also be LARPers

It really shows and sells the action in the video! Again awesome stuff!

The "big guy" in this video is the front singer of the german Death Metal band "Asenblut" btw. 😉
Tim "Tetzel" Schmidt.
The location is either Bogendwald or Jyrlund, two LARP villages located in germany, and very near to each other.
Salatio Mortis has been a "staple food" for german metal festivals for decades. I love them. :D
I feel like they need even bigger props!

At the end he yells "For Tamriel" as he charges.
Amazing were the electric callboy rabbit hole will lead you. I discovered these guys and we butter the bread with butter

Yes he does.

It would have been cool to see him as a NPC!

The nord is also seen in this video and they killedthe costumes of both of them, they were perfect to the point some ppl thought they were CGI :)
Makes me want Elder Scrolls 6 now lol
i can't confirm this but i heard that Saltatio Mortis has a few songs in the new ESO expansion
@@lordorion5776 well Alea sings a few songs (i think 5) as a bard in the high isle region and only in the german languege setting.
@@homesteadlegion4419 I thought it was 5 that's still cool it makes me tempted to get back into eso again
Saltatio Mortis is doing 4 songs for Bethesda, last I heard.
