I'm so curious to know- what's your relationship with time like? Could your boundaries with time use some work? Download the guide for more insights!: www.terricole.com/time-boundaries-guide

I remember my father always losing it because it took my mom too long to get in the car when we had somewhere to go, but she was never late getting to work (when she worked).
They ended up having a second residence and he worked away, and she went to work. Maybe they were privately separated, idk. They were empty nesters.
I remember how much they argued and would never have believed they stayed together.
This is a tough end of year for those I've been honored to get to know over the past year and a half. I see my people suffering. A loss of a spouse, a cancer battle of a spouse, a adult child trying to get parents back together, to awkward separations, and health issues. It's like there is a world of hurt. People are walking around in their quiet pain, or are isolating. I pray for spring, and new growth. 🙏🏼🌿

I make multiple trips to my car, house, etc. when leaving the house. My husband always wants to be early, but forgets things that we need to take with us on trips.
I love the story about the quick Home Depot trip! Wow, I never realized that people thought being a couple of minutes late was being so disrespectful. I could gather the belongings together for the trip the night before.

It's extremely constructive to refer to those with ADHD when discussing such matters. My ex has so many self management issues with time and tasks that could've have been addressed successfully with different strategies and honesty

Totally true I recognize myself in ADD, support understanding and consideration from others is helpful.
Also I tried to be disciplined structured and prepared for my side.
I am a help for inspiring Creative and Loyal friend if People cannot stand them sometimes a bit late and chaotic, they cannot be friends or contacts of mine.
I tried my best I have a lot to offer and I can be very structured and organized as well not always and sometimes I need help and support.

I daydreamed through school starting in kindergarten. When we took turns reading from our primer, I "woke up" and realized we were on "L". (In other words I don't know how we got all the way to "L"). I think I have been afraid to be late my whole life after that. How weird :(

    Terri,
For going to places, couldn't you just tell him you wish to leave 11.oo hrs if u wish to leave at 12❓
(but do not tell him, he obviously had difficulty in estimating and planning time, like me, and always small stuff to do before leaving the house, like me)
It will always give him 1 hr extra for tardiness and chaos. Might make him more relaxed also.
And them only express upset if he's more than one hr late❔
    I also get this doesn't always make sense . . .
I must honestly say if my housemates and friends who do this to me it would feel great and I would have a bit more space in time. So I could feel refreshed and ready I feel I have some extra time before going somewhere.

I admire that, if you succeed in being everywhere half an hr up to 2 hrs earlier than needed, how you (Terri) get things done at home❓
How will you have enough time❔
You must be extremely efficient at home. And have ease in life management. Do you have any tips & life hacks for us❓
also to not be late without stress
I fit into ADD & HSP spectrum, also I am creative (I went to art school), all above are extremely challenging to me.
And things seem to be never done here . . .
