  • Reducing lens diopters? Don't try any of this at home. This is all highly experimental, unapproved, and definitely requiring research and reading and critical thinking. And still, you're totally doing a thing you're probably not supposed to. Especially for anyone going "but what are the stepz, bro", this is definitely and absolutely not for you. The first and original "Start Here" endmyopia video I made, in all of its 20 minute rambling glory, is here: • Start Here: Improve Yo... - watch that for the somewhat more dense but possibly worthwhile introduction to this topic.
    The Jake Origin Story: I grew up with glasses, 5.00 diopter high myopia, and yet today have 20/20 natural eyesight. No surgery, no glasses, I figured out how myopia actually works and how to reverse it (and no, not eye exercises!) The mainstream tells you it's impossible - but the whole concept that myopia is an illness, is complete unscientific nonsense (a 100 billion dollar a year profitable nonsense, though).

    • @nickflynn439
      @nickflynn439 3 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      @@generalaccount1568 I followed the Endmyopia basics almost exclusively. Really. I have experimented with some vision therapy techniques (brock string, pencil pushups, etc) partly because I believe those of us who have been lensbound for years probably have been left with some visual cortex issues that can be helped along by some of those techniques (especially toward the end of the journey--the dreaded last diopter). I would also say that making sure your nutrition and fitness are at a good level will help to keep progress from stalling.

When I found you, I was so excited and told my husband about this guy called Jake that could help me improve my vision, which was something I have wanted to do all my life!! He was very sceptical, but the thing for us that shows us you're "it" is that you don't charge for any of this information! I truly hope that others who learn from you (incl myself) pay that sort of generosity forward. I don't know if you're religious, but I am, and so I wish you all God's blessings, for you and yours! Look into holistic vision improvement. Claudia Muehlenweg has courses of varying lengths (going into varying depths) about vision improvement. She does charge, but my mother, who has experience with holistic practitioners who do similar things, says the techniques seem completely legitimate. Basically, it’s stuff that calms the nervous system and addresses hormones, nutrition, etc. in addition to getting away from the crutches of glasses which progressively make eyesight worse.

    I have been doing eye exercises for a year until I found this, Will that affect my expierence with this?
    I been trying to do active focus far away without my glasses even thought blur horizon is to the end of my hand. Will that be bad?
    I get random sharp pains in my eye a few hours after I do active focus?? Any idea what that is?
    Do I have to reduce my lens to the same amount for distance and close up, or different amounts?

    I've had -1.25 for decades, almost never use glasses except for driving or watching tv. Not using glasses and being outdoors doesn't cure myopia. Using glasses for a long time makes vision worse for an hour max but it just bounces back to my bad baseline. Very skeptical of active focus and all that, I can't make blurry lines clear however much I try.

    • @nofood1

      You can’t fix it if you don’t do the exercises. Your eyes are cramped. You need to uncramp them.

    • @Vanduo610
      @Vanduo610 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, you can not fix vision problems by doing exercises, but wearing glasses does not make it worse either. It could look like it makes worse because after you take off your glasses you see the big difference and after you are not wearing for a along time blur vision looks normal to you. There are two myths that I spotted: 1) exercising does improve vision (no, it does not); 2) glasses worsens vision (no, it does not).

      Clear up slightly blurry text at the distance by blinking at it with the right lenses, for example on TV in 3 meter distance. Do it daily for 4 months. In the beginning it will take a lot time to clear up, after 4 months it will take only 1 minute. Then you can switch to lower glasses. Use big text letters to focus on. Use your TV as your computer screen. Buy a test lens kit to figure out what lenses you need for your chosen distance to the TV.

    I am sooo confused by all of this. Reversing myopia is new to me. A few weeks ago I discovered through TH-cam that this could be reversed. I was so shocked. I’ve been having eye issues since I was 12. I was diagnosed with myopia and astigmatism. Got glasses, and when I was in my early 20s I had lasik surgery which “fixed” the problem, but started having other eye issues. Story short, a few years ago my eyesight deteriorated again, and it was back to the glasses.
    In one eye I have -0.75 and in the other I have cataracts (which I am eliminating with castor oil). The eye with the -0.75 also needed reading glasses and everything became just too much because I could feel my eyesight getting worse.
    A few weeks ago I stop using the phone and the computer, and stopped using my glasses for myopia.
    now my close up vision is perfect, I don’t need my reading glasses anymore, but my big confusion is:
    Should I stop using the other glasses? They only work for mid distance not far distance… I don’t know what l am supposed to do.
