Had a nice haul this year too, found a snaggle tooth a little bit smaller! Bunch of meg fragments. My prize was a 1inch mako

are there any good locations to search on the Peace in Polk County? We'll be in the Tampa area in a few weeks and would like to find a safe location w/in 1 hr drive.

How far north on the peace river have you been?
Just up to Zolfo. I have been wanting to give Wauchula a try.
@@TerraSharkTV gotcha bartow is closer to me. Which is where the origin of peace river starts. But is fed by saddle creek and into peace creek as well.
@@Batfan83 I've looked into Bartow and Bowling green but didn't know how huntabke the area is.
@@TerraSharkTV I'm not sure either but I know the sr60 boat ramp is the closest I can get to the origin point and peace creek. Judging by Google earth there seems.to be a lot of sand and gravel bars in those areas.
