Poignant to have a Fiesta on the channel the week that the very last Fiesta ever came of the production line in Cologne. I used to work for Ford of Europe back in the day and was involved in the development of the Mark 3 Fiesta, so somewhat emotional for me.
To break this car would be the most pointless thing ever and extremely agrivating. Only cars that are too far gone for the road should ever be broken, otherwise they should be sold, and this is a car that will easily sell for what you want for it… with how strong the Ford community is it will sell.
What a really beautiful motor! Your going to get alot of people crying over this if they don't get it but I think what your doing is the right thing, once again, such a beautiful motor! Such a cheap price too, brilliant video, keep up the good work Rob and Chris... also 7/7/23 was the last day of production for the Fiesta as well so if you did take it to the auction, it will sell really fast and sell for exceptional money too
Ford escort rs2000 mark5 running gear, interior, wheels, the whole lot from when u said guess in the comments not even watched the whole video yet and love it. Also to break that would be absolutely criminal,u would have to have a heart of stone to do that. That will go up and up in value.
These kind of vids are fantastic you used to do loads more like that glad they still pop up and you made a video out of it thanks. I don't want to say what I think it's worth as not to put pressure on anyone making an offer but if I was closer I'd take it all day long . 👍
Hi Rob and Chris, what a lovely little classic, when I heard you mention break it I nearly choked..!!! Nooo, please don't do that. A fantastic survivor sleeper car.. Alex.
Good decision on opening it up to offers or auction. For the right buyer it’s worth a lot more than you’ve paid for it. Plus it keeps another one on the road! Nice find and a good little video guys
There has been a lot of work gone into that car, it would be a crime to break it. I'm sure you will get a very good price for it. It will be a car for an enthusiast. Although I couldn't hear the exhaust, you said you wouldn't want to go far in it. Big bore exhausts can be tiring, but this is the fun in classic car ownership . Keep these classics on the road. We did a tour of Wales recently, and a visit to The Shetland Motor Show last year in a 1968 Austin Cambridge and we live in Yorkshire. 350 miles back home in the day, man up lads!!
I passed my test in one of those. In January 1990 😳A bit like Chris, not my cup of tea, but someone will absolutely love it, and all credit to the man who created a little beastie 😂
Personally I think to a Fast Ford enthusiast, That's a £5k car in that condition. If I had the Money I'd be very interested from Owning an RS1800 back in the 90's. Best of luck with the sale Lads, I hope someone will cherish it for years to come.
Well done lads, was worried then when you were talking about breaking it or selling it back on for £500. You should easily get more than £3250 through the channel. Hoping it goes to a good home.
Someone will buy that for £5K, surely? Such good condition with all those mods and original features - especially as Fiestas will soon be a thing of the past.
You both seem very confident about the car and its price, and if I was half my age, I'd jump at the chance to win it at whatever the final bid is. Great competition. Try and this more regular because the buyer will know he/she has a bargain from two honest guys. Great video!!)
What an awesome video guys, brings back so many memories of the 90s. With the very last fiesta rolling of the production line this week, I wreckon this is a fantastic option for Ford to buy this of you guys & they keep hold of it. Either way your going to make a killing on this.
What a good little minter that is..! Amazing how clean it is for the age. Brilliant conversion aswell.!! Personally I'd literally just get it serviced , mot , full valet and maybe get the bumpers colour coded. Would look well good..!!
Wow love this proper 90s car this they was 10 to a penny in 90s becoming quite a rare car now glad your not breaking it that would be heart breaking to see proper tidy fiesta this it’s been well loved for 👍🏽👍🏽
Looks a fun little car. My stepmother had an RS1800 from new, bought at huge discount as in the early Nineties only middle aged ladies in rural Yorkshire could get insurance on them.
LOVE IT! - reminds me of Essex in the 90s - Rude boy Ford Fans in XR2i's and Turbo Fiesta's (I had a MK2 Granada 2.8iS) those was the days. I'd have a go with this for a alugh. Top work fellas as always!
What a fantastic blast from the past😅😅 Your face rob didn't stop smiling all the way through that vlog- boyhood memories ❤ Fantastic video as always, well done.
Yesss I love MK3 Fiestas had 3, a 1.3 Ghia, 1.6 Ghia and an XR2i, now got a Puma 1.7 which was Fiesta based, be sad to see it broken for parts it's awesome!

Look at the meet with Mike brewer and Elvis for wheeler dealers. I have a mk4 fiesta ghia paid 2 k for it and got offered 3k straight away . You always sell great cars and if I didn't have so many I would bid you on it. Well done guys.
Best little cars ever built, a real world beater the Fiesta, that car is worth every penny of £3250, if not more due to the condition and rareness of it.
Thats a cool looking car, With how nice that body was and how much work went into making that performance sleeper, I'm glad you aren't breaking it for a mega profit. That is a little stunner. I thought most early mk3 Fiesta's would have dissolved by now. I passed my test in a G reg diesel popular plus 33 years ago, so while I'm not a big Ford fan, these cars do hold a special place for me. 👍

You both are always very good with your valuations in giving a reasonalble price. Would like to see what happens? Best wishes fgrom Lincolnshire.
My first new car was a red 3dt 1.1 & wow did this bring back memories, I really hope someone buys & keeps this then enjoys it. Yes I get it's worth a shed load of cash in bits but when did you last see one as good as this! Nice one guys!!!
