Hi I haven’t viewed for a while but it always breaks my heart to see houses left like this. It looks like someone has died or been taken into care. So sad . As usual you always show respect and compassion for what has been someone’s home and their personal belongings. Pity the same can’t be said about your compadres 🤦♀️
Gorgeous surroundings great views . I'm from Irvine but our greenbelt is vanishing to make way for crap looking new builds. Thank you Alec not much of the happy squad this venture.
Possibly could still be salvaged, get a good strong sturdy roof on it and repair the inside. I just don't understand why so many places in some of these countries are abandoned. What happens that they just leave everything.........
@@alisonlyons4691 Yeah sure was warm that day and water was nice too, if there's another heatwave i'm going back lol, i only stayed up there for one night as well was so worth it
The little machine on the mantle is an adding machine or maybe a calculator - mechanical, not digital. Looks like it might be from the 1960s, like the TV and the telephone. These houses always raise such a lot of questions. What happened to make the people living there go so quickly and never even come back for family photos? Why do people let holes form in the roof, which is the signal that the building won't last much longer? Someone owns this house, but doesn't care about it, even enough to sell it....
It sad all memories left elderly person im guessing some ppl don't have family to leave ther home too and all that land to go with it that worth a bit if sold its a shame its gna need a revamp
All of these places these Urbexers go to are in UK, Maybe France , Belgium, Italy, and other places. It is so sad so many aces are just left to sit empty full of belongings and be destroyed by nature. It's so very sad. There was a time in my life that I would have been happy to have had a nice out of the weather place to stay.
@@nannyburd1 I could be completely off the mark but it looks like a road on the way to Aberdeen, maybe somewhere between Forfar and Aberdeen. Just a guess,
Makes me sad 😢that no family have came and taken the photos at least. Maybe there’s no family. I’d buy that cottage though
Me too...I think it's a lovely cottage
Fancy waking up every morning seeing these beautiful views.
It’s like snowdonia😊
Isn’t the view breathtaking from the right hand bedroom? I was positioning the bed in my dream decorating of this place. 😊
@@sharong8511 Stunning views
Great find Alec but sad too think all those things just left behind . . 😢
Love the contrast in condition of the rooms. Thanks for taking us along.
That old fashioned adding machine is a comtometer.
Nice find. Its not too late for that one to be done up and used again, the location looks good.
Where is it?
It's an old calculator. It should be in a museum.
It was a nice little house in the past.
Thank you for the video and the pictures at the end !
We used similar ones at work - set the digits and whirr the handle ( before they invented calculators ( let alone computers )

This actually looks salvagable with a lick of paint and put abit of money, time and effort into the place. Could be quite a cosy little place
So many people struggling to pay rent/ mortgage, let them have it and they can hopefully keep it maintained.
Those hills in Scotland look fascinating !!!
What a beautiful house such a shame no one lives there anymore
That money machine that you were playing about with was an early form of calculator and looked in good condition.
Sweet little cottage. Real nice. A little fixer upper. HeyAlec, thanks for not opening the fridge. We will ignore the graffiti. Cheers.❤❤❤❤
It has the bones of a charming little cottage, hopefully someone will give it some TLC.

Nice but sad video thx 👍

Outstanding ❤thankyou
Another great video
It’s an adding machine
Nice find, looked like a homely place once.
And there was a message inside telling: DREAMLAND.
On the other hand:whole life is but a dream...
Giving many a good time, you do.
I wouldn't have been surprised if there was a ( live ) body on the bed. Looks the sort of unofficial doss used to break a long journey.
Such a shame. Wish I'd the money to come back home from the US and fix it up!
That strange gadget is an adding machine, manually set. Cosy cottage, needs tlc
I bet you got a fright Alex it could have been someone in the bed dead 😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣
the thing on the mantle piece looked a bit like an old till but could be a toy one im not sure
Alec I would love to do your job but I would check doon the back of the chairs for the money lol

Hard to see a place left to go to ruin😢. Would such a place be available to buy? It's clearly not beyond repair.
