If you can afford it, I’d order two more. I can tell you that it would drive me crazy having that one off. I’m also thinking that it might be time for new coils anyway. It wouldn’t hurt it that’s for sure.
I have the 4 Cylinder version of that car. It will go to the middle of 1k like normal but then surge once the temperature moves up. I ended up getting a new Honda IAC valve after putting 3 different ones on and it still does the same thing. I've bled the coolant and it's still doing it. I didnt see the radiator fans turn on so I wonder if that's why. I've checked for vaccum leaks and it wasnt it. Any advice?
I have a 93 accord when I drive to go from any gear to the next (manual) at about 3-4K rpm it stops and it acts like when u redline a car. Where tons bounce up down fast. What could cause that. You know?
Would you by any chance know what can cause the revs to jumps high when shifting gears in 2003 automatic civic. I noticed that when shifting to 3rd gear or so the revs jumps higher than usual then the revs are back to normal after the shift.
@@burgosx1 I've read in few forum post this being caused by the transmission slipping when shifting gears. It doesn't happen as much as it did before but I still notice a slight jump. Maybe transmission fluid change can solve this since I haven't changed mine.
Sorry it didn’t work for you probably just had a different problem. It worked for me and several other people. I hope you track down your issues a lot of problems can have very similar symptoms
So what was the solution?
Is this can show what is the problem if there is transmission slipping or limp mode, and most of these problems are not showing check engine light?

Sir can i ask a question, is that a MAF SENSOR and IACV SENSOR did you pull out?
The first one he pulled out is the MAF, the second one is the TPS.

Check your MAP sensor. If it’s not working the car goes into a loop and “redline” is now 3,500-4,000 rpm.

It’s the idler control sensor that can be found underneath the throttle body. If the rpms fluctuates when you turn on the car, that’s your problem.
