Mr Mig! I greatly appreciate the time you took to make this series. Just passed the exam today because of it. I even bought books and watched other videos but your descriptions and drawings made it very easy to comprehend and memorize. Have a great day!
After months of studying, this morning I passed my exam with an 83%! Thank you for all of your help Mr Mig!! You were my main resource. For everyone just now starting, this guy knows his stuff!
Just took my test today and passed with a 78%. Your videos were super helpful in understanding the material and many of the questions. Thanks so much for the help! The test was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. There were probably 10 questions I hadn't seen in any study materials online. Here is what I could remember from what questions I got: 2 questions on hyperventilation 2 questions on registering/flying a drone in a foreign country A lot of airspace sectional chart questions 2 questions using TAF 1 question about YAW, PITCH or ROLL 2 question on remote ID multiple questions on the steps Crew Resource Management 1 question about what military operations are happening in certain area on sectional chart 1 question on ATC tower shutting down for the night no questions on direction of runway
I passed Part 107 today at 93%, with self study and watching your videos. Just want to come back and thank you for being the 1st one that helped me to finally understand sectional charts, and airspace especially class E!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you for all your videos! I passed the drone 107 test with an 83% on my first try! There were 4 TAF questions and 0 METAR questions on my test. There were 7-8 map related questions and 3 density altitude questions. You must understand more than just facts and numbers. The FAA wants to make sure you understand the concepts behind aviation.
Yesterday I got a 90% on the exam! The test felt really tricky and leaving the room I wasn't even sure if I passed. I didn't have to spend a dime to prepare for the test and your videos were a big reason for that, thank you!
Almost bought a few different courses I was looking at and then came across your videos. Scheduled my test almost a week out, binged your videos and made flash cards. Passed today with a 90%. Thanks so much for all you do. Made it so nice to go to one channel that covered all the info! Keep up the great work.
I am coming back to your video to leave you a thank you and to tell you how appreciative I am for your videos. I watched all of your videos and took my test yesterday and made a 93! I am so stoked for what the future holds. Thank you for all you do. Greetings from Florida!
Your content deserves the hundreds of thousands of views that other creators in the part 107 realm have! Maybe you should consider putting all your videos together into one and then time stamping it all out. The content and quality is there, you just need the algorithm to pick you up. Play with the titles and why not because I had to really look to find your stuff but it’s been the best tool I’ve seen yet. I’m taking my test next Friday. I’ll be sure to come back and throw your donation for all your work. Thank you so much.
Passed this morning with a 92%! Told myself I would come back to your channel to leave a big THANK YOU. I watched the majority of all the part 107 videos & I can Mr. Mig is hands down the best teacher for the exam prep on TH-cam. Don’t waste your money on courses!
Just wanted to come and say thank you so much for all that you’re doing. I crammed in a ton of your lessons this weekend and took my 107 test today and passed.
Thanks Mr. Mig. You are an excellent teacher! While watching your previous Airspace video, it occurred to me that it might make more sense if controlled airspace was explained from the outside to the airport. This video on Class E was simply fantastic! I am looking forward to watching your other Part 107 videos.
I just took my test this afternoon and passed with an 88!! Thank you so much Mr. Mig! I actually got very few weather and air space questions. My test really focused on the regulations.
I came back here today to thank you for all of your patient and in-depth explanations. Thanks to you I passed my exam today on the first try with a 93%. You are doing great work!
Thanks Mr Mig! Passed my test with an 87 after watching all your videos studied 8-10 hours both days before my test. Did 4 quizlets as well about part 107 and skimmed the FAA study guide. Posting this for future part 107 testers looking and scrambling like I was!
Good afternoon Sir, just passed my test today thanks to you. Wanted to let you know that my test consisted of several remote ID questions and quite a few weather/metar/taf questions. Only a few chart questions and they were the same questions covered. Thanks for all you do.
Thanks! I passed today thanks to your videos. I appreciated your in depth explanation and short videos. I am hoping to join our fire department drone team.
i just crammed most of your vids for 2 days and past the exam this morning! id say mine was about 10 map questions and rest knowledge based. appreciate your societal contribution lol.(these are the best vids for the 2024 test ,info still holds strong) PEAK teacher!
Thank you Mr. Mig for your excellent presentations and teaching style. I used your videos to study for and pass my Part 107 exam in very little time with great results.
Thank you so much for your time and expertise with these part 107 videos!! They helped me tremendously to pass the exam on the first try!! Forever grateful!! 🙌🙏✝️
Took test today - lots of chart, sectional chart, airspace , TAF, remote ID and many more . Mr Migs videos played a hugeeeeeeee part in my pass today . Took the exam , used a magnifier sheet reader . I was expecting to get 70% ish. I got a 93% and honestly these airspace videos, and self study for 3 weeks helped. I strongly advise you to take practice test online .
Nice video on a confusing topic. One note: if someone is flying in an Echo extension (ie: E4) similar to your example they should not be contacting ATC for any reason. If it was an E2 SFC E then approvals should be done thru LAANC or Dronezone. ATC should never be directly contacted for approvals per the FAA memo. Only exception would be if explicitly instructed to do so under a COA, WAA or SGI.
This and the previous video covered information you would think would be covered everywhere. I mean this in a good way. Thanks for putting something out there that is explanatory for people that don't have a way to "apprentice" under others.
Thanks!🤓I passed the Part 107 exam (Unmanned Aircraft General - Small (UAG) ) with a 93% I really appreciated your videos. And, thanks for being a teacher.
I passed Part 107 this Friday at 83%, with self-study and watching your videos. Your weather videos were also helpful to me .. Just want to come back and thank you.
Thank you, Mr. Mig. Just passed the Part 107 with 92% and completed the test in about 30 minutes. Your videos certainly were helpful in achieving that.
mr mig can you make videos about the new remote ID, drone classes, and night time flying questions? Also there was one question about calcuating stuff with moments in physics and i had a hard time understanding that question so im wondering if you could cover it? The question i need help with: The Moment on one side of your drone is 12 in-lbs. How far on the other side of your drone would you place a 4lb object to make it balanced?
Thanks for the video. At 08:44, you point out the dashed squared magenta is where Echo airspace begins at the surface and is a controlled airspace (Echo 4), yet right after that you say that dashed magenta space technically doesn't require ATC approval. Please clarify. I'm confused as to what you're saying. Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Thank you for all the videos you've been posting, it's been so helpful for my exam study. I was wondering if you could help explain this question " An ATC radar facility issues the following advisory to a pilot during a local flight: "TRAFFIC 2 O'CLOCK, 5 MILES, NORTHBOUND..." Where should the pilot look for this traffic?" - Answer "Between directly ahead and 90° to the right". I tried looking up explanations for this and can't seem to get it right. Thank you!
Hi Mr.Mig My name is Kana and I’m enjoying your video so much! I’ve never ever post any comment at anywhere but I would do this time. I’m living in Florida and I’m working at medical field now. But I really like drone so I decided to take the exam for part 107. Now I’m stack on this question for little while and I can’t still get over it. Can you help me please? It’s a Question about the floor of class E airspace around Georgetown Airpot (i can’t sent the photo for some reason) A)3,823ft MSL B)At the surface C)700ft AGL I thought E class floor is 700AGL but the correct answer was A. Why is that?
Something seems odd about that. Can you post it in the Facebook group chat? I have a Facebook group. Part 107 drone study material. Its has 2.6k followers just to help you know which one it is. Post it in there. This way I can see the map. Others will comment too. There are a lot of great people in that group.
Merry Christmas to Mr. Mig! I have been too busy to pursue my questions and post to your Facebook group but actually I accidentally found the answer a couple days ago. It is the answer below.. Q: In figure below, Area 1. The floor of Class E airspace above Georgetown Airport (E36) is at: a. At the Surface b. 700 feet AGL c. 3,823 feet MSL So the correct answer according to the test guide is C: 3,823 feet MSL. Georgetown airport is in Class G airspace. Since there is no magenta shaded line, Class E airspace begins at 1200 AGL. So the airport elevation is 2,623 ft. MSL. Therefore, 2623 MSL + 1200 = 3823 MSL to the floor of Class E airspace above the airport. That’s the all explanation for my question!! Thank you so much for your posts!
Really like your videos. Thank you! Just curious, do you teach HS students to help them pass the exam? Would be a great HS class to empower kids to pass the test AND fly a drone in real life!
Basically it's from ground AGL to 700 AGL. On the sectional charts there is no markings - no dashes, circles, faded lines or wedding cakes. You don't need permission to fly there. It like you are flying in the sticks. That is my understand of it. Its the only place where you can fly without permission. You still can't go above 400 ft with a drone.
Mr Mig! I greatly appreciate the time you took to make this series. Just passed the exam today because of it. I even bought books and watched other videos but your descriptions and drawings made it very easy to comprehend and memorize. Have a great day!

A)3,823ft MSL
B)At the surface
C)700ft AGL

Merry Christmas to Mr. Mig! I have been too busy to pursue my questions and post to your Facebook group but actually I accidentally found the answer a couple days ago. It is the answer below..
Q: In figure below, Area 1. The floor of Class E airspace above Georgetown Airport (E36) is at:
a. At the Surface
b. 700 feet AGL
c. 3,823 feet MSL
So the correct answer according to the test guide is C: 3,823 feet MSL.
Question: how does Gulf (at 3:25) go up to 14,500AGL if Echo’s floor is 1200AGL
Wondering if it would be possible for you to make a video on prog charts..
You didn't cover a class E airspace with a faded blue circular line which I think indicates a floor of1200'?
Does the test ask about class G? Do you have a separate video that goes more in depth about this airspace?
Really like your videos. Thank you! Just curious, do you teach HS students to help them pass the exam? Would be a great HS class to empower kids to pass the test AND fly a drone in real life!
Did I miss your explanation of Airspace G???
Basically it's from ground AGL to 700 AGL. On the sectional charts there is no markings - no dashes, circles, faded lines or wedding cakes. You don't need permission to fly there.
